We’re skipping the small talk today because we have some truly groundbreaking news to share. The wait is finally over...
That's right! In exactly one week, July 30th, you'll be packing your bags and heading straight to the States.
To celebrate this massive milestone, we’re bringing you our biggest discount yet and revealing a brand-new face you’ll be seeing on the job site. Let’s dive right in!
Looking for the perfect excuse to fire up the concrete mixer, or know a friend who wants to join your crew?
For a limited time, Builder Simulator is featured as a Daily Deal on Steam with a jaw-dropping 85% discount!
There has never been a better time to start building. Consider it the ultimate warm-up to lay some solid foundations (literally!) before your upcoming American adventure. Grab your tools and get your skills ready before this deal expires!
In our last devlog, we announced that we are officially moving to the suburbs with the upcoming American Houses DLC, and we teased a brand-new companion taking over for our beloved Bill Derr. It’s time to pull back the curtain and introduce your new assistant!
Say hello to Dee Elsie, who is actually Bill Derr’s older sister!
Dee Elsie is stepping in to supervise your American construction projects. While she comes across as composed, highly specialized, and professional, she doesn't always quite get the... unique problems... that "organic creatures" (that's you!) face on a build site.
Design-wise, Dee Elsie is highly specialized for the demands of lightweight US construction and spacious US lots. Instead of hauling a concrete mixer, she sports a durable, integrated toolbox directly on her back.
Her distinct silhouette is built for utility. Forget a hat, she features a sturdy, built-in metal headpiece designed to double as essential head protection, and she utilizes a single robust wheel for navigating varied construction sites. While she shares some general construction aesthetics with her brother, her design is optimized for the intricate woodwork and unique challenges of the American Houses expansion.
Throughout the three massive contracts included in the American Houses DLC, Dee Elsie will be your dedicated construction manager. She will introduce you to all the new US-specific building mechanics, from timber framing to specialized drywall installation, and she will share the unique stories and backgrounds of the families you are building for.
Get ready to master timber frames, build classic American homes, and work alongside the professional and determined Dee Elsie.
The expansion drops on July 30th, so make sure to add the American Houses DLC to your Steam Wishlist today so you don't miss the exact moment the new neighborhoods open for construction!
That's all for now! If you want to stay up to date and chat with our development team or report an issues, be sure to drop by our Discord!
You can also find updates there regarding our other titles, including Farmbotic and Honeycomb: The World Beyond:
Thank you for your incredible support throughout the game's journey. Now, grab your hard hats and dive right into the American Dream!
Happy Building!
The Builder Simulator Team
It’s time to expand your construction empire across the ocean. We are absolutely thrilled to officially announce the upcoming American Houses DLC for Builder Simulator!
Get ready to leave European masonry behind and master the art of building classic American suburban homes from scratch.
This expansion allows you to construct and design neighborhoods straight out of your favorite Hollywood movies, featuring spacious open-plan layouts, multi-car attached garages, and wide front lawns. The American Dream focuses entirely on the unique aesthetics of suburban residences - ranging from modest bungalows and houses inspired by classic farmhouses, to massive estates complete with multiple bathrooms and dedicated walk-in closets.
To capture that unmistakable neighborhood charm, you’ll be customizing your projects with classic wooden siding, asphalt shingle roofs, and iconic, welcoming wraparound porches.
American homes are built differently, and you’re going to experience this firsthand. Say goodbye to heavy brickwork and learn to master lightweight timber frames, erect stud walls, and install drywall with absolute precision.
Once the structure is ready, you can dive into a completely fresh catalog of interior furnishings. Arrange your projects perfectly with massive kitchen islands, classic American appliances, and ultra-cozy living room sets to create spaces that look ready for their first owners.
Before we wrap things up, we have a quick teaser for you. While our beloved base-game robot companion, Bill Derr, is still hanging around, he won't be managing the construction sites on this American adventure.
To help you tackle these massive builds and guide you through the intricacies of US construction, a brand-new helper is joining the crew - meet Dee Elsie!
We will be revealing more details about Dee Elsie very soon. Make sure to keep a close eye on our upcoming devlogs, as we’ll be dropping fresh updates much more frequently from now on!
While we're busy laying the foundations for this new DLC, we’d love for you to drop by our official Discord server! It’s the perfect site to discuss the upcoming American expansion, share your architectural blueprints, and hang out with our amazing community of builders.
Taking a quick break from the construction site? You can also catch the latest updates there regarding our other titles, including Fish & Hike, Farmbotic and Honeycomb: The World Beyond.
Keep your hard hats scratched,

You’ve been waiting a long time for an update, and today, we finally have some great news to share: we have officially resumed development on Builder Simulator!
As we were planning the next steps for the game, we noticed a trend: the vast majority of building games out there heavily feature European-style architecture. We decided it was time to bring a completely fresh vibe and new architectural challenges to your construction sites.
That’s why our main focus right now is a brand-new DLC dedicated to classic American-style houses! From iconic porches and specific framing techniques to those classic suburban layouts, we want to give you the tools to build the American Dream from the ground up.
When can you play it? If everything goes smoothly and no unexpected bugs drop a concrete block on our heads, we are aiming to release this DLC later this year. We are still in the early stages, but we couldn't wait to show you what we've been cooking up.
