Click on the Subscribe button

Load the game, go to Workshop Mode’s settings and the download list.

Change the download list type to ‘Workshop’

The original Bubble Bobble running too fast In order to be as close as possible to the original arcade game's performance on modern hardware, we locked the frame rate of teh game. Please be aware that tearing may occur depending on the refresh rate of your monitor.

Workshop Mode

First, we launched on Switch, then added 100 new, tougher stages and the invincible Baron von Blubba as a free update for the PS4 release. Now Steam players get all that content, plus an exclusive Workshop Mode so all you budding-bubble dragons can build better stages with blocks, bullies and more! Not sure what to build? Need some inspiration? Well, Bub's here to try out some of the designs the Taito development team put together in his first Let's Play video! And if you think you can better Bub’s skills, we’ve uploaded the dev team’s to Steam’s Workshop for you to try!

After a successful launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation®4, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is ready to burst onto Steam!

A Whole New Mode?!

To make up for the wait, the Steam version's getting a new, exclusive mode that will let Bubble Bobble fans everywhere create and share their own stages in Workshop Mode! To reflect the devious stages we know you'll come up with, we've changed the name to Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron's Workshop, in honour of everyone's favourite series villain, Baron von Blubba. We have a new trailer too, to give you an idea of what to expect from the new mode.

Workshop Mode

In this new mode, you'll be able to create your own, unique stages by placing blocks, enemies and the bubble-carrying wind exactly where you want them. New blocks and enemies can be unlocked by playing through the game's story.
