Here is the latest update. The main addition being BPW's expansion into South America with Brazilian promotion Action Pro Wrestling coming to the game. Im delighted to finally release the long awaited UI overhaul. Ive attempted to make the game easier to use by becoming more visual without losing any of the depth. I feel the game has come along way from where its been and i hope you like it as much as i do. A few pages might feel a bit unfinished which is because they are due to the sheer amount of work and time this has taken. These pages are ones that were barebones previously so are still a noticeable upgrade. Honestly i have forgotten all the fixes ive done over the past few weeks aswell but i aimed to do everything reported. Thank you all for the continued support and i hope you enjoy BPW even more now!!

Hi All,

I hope you all are staying safe and cool from the heatwave that's going at the moment. Last weeks fix seemed to cause issues to reoccur so my main focus has been on that. Ive tested it all thoroughly so all should be fixed completely now but as always let me know if not.

Ive began work on the In-game user manual which i have named BPW Academy via an icon on the header bar which has long been asked for. Its still at a basic state but plan to work on it further. I have also redesigned the tutorial to simplify it. i plan to expand it more in the coming days and weeks to try lessen the learning curve. The tutorial is now draggable aswell so it wont be in the way when you trying to follow it. Ive also made some additions to the notebook section to make planner your games easier. Its not complete as of yet as some of the linking in it doesn't work yet but its getting there.

Hi all

A bit late with my weekly update so apologies on that. Stupid as it sounds, I'm still readjusting to life after my holiday and with the World Cup on i have a lot going on in general at the moment. Today I managed to celebrate my second ever Father's day and put the finishing touches on this update so I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. As you can see from below it was quite a task doing all the bug fixes so i got very little done in the additions section. I'm gonna get back to additions this week provided the discord bug report channel stays quiet haha.

There is also new real world wrestler additions in VPW, UWA, PWT and a newly added company which ill be announcing after this update post. The real world database is expanding which is making me very happy. I have already 1 more promotion on board after todays update and i await some more wrestler details. I previously had initial agreements with over 20 companies globally but they haven't been completed yet. I plan to chase the up in the coming weeks to see if they wish to pursue the partnership further.

For those potentially reading this and don't have the game, BPW will be 33% off in Summer Sale which represents the biggest discount on BPW yet, so if your a bit stuck for cash but want the game, hold off a few days.

Regarding sale news , this week BPW surpassed 800 copies sold and it all feels a bit mad to be honest. I created BPW with the sole intention of making a Wrestling Booker game that i would like to play myself, i never imagined it selling, nevermind to over 800 people. 800 copies may seem like a drop in the ocean regarding game sales to some, but honestly the fact that this many people wanted to play BPW has overwhelmed me to be honest.

Anyway ill stop my rambling and say, as always thank you all for the continued support, patience and kind words. If you have questions, queries or requests please just let me know and ill see what i can do.

Hi All

I'm finally back from holidays after 16 days in Greece. Without sharing my life story, had a bit of a nightmare travelling back and need a few recovery days before i got back into the game so this update is a week later so apologies on that. Regarding the update i feel the optimization has gone really well with all transitions and screens moving as quick as i would expect. I fixed the bugs that were reported on Discord while i was gone and begun another UI overhaul which will take place along with some changes to the game where i want to make the game a but more visual. my hope is that making the game more visual will help with the learning curve currently on starting the game for the first time. I wont be removing any features or dumbing anything down as i want to keep the same depth to the game while doing this. Along with this i will be focusing on game balancing to ensure the best and most exciting long term saves possible.

This will be over a number of updates as its quite an extensive bit of work but you can see from the New Left Nav bar the direction i wanna go in. As always thank you to everyone who has supported this game, left feedback, reviews, bug reports, suggestions etc. I really appreciate it all and im looking forward to getting fully back into the game now. As always ill be monitoring the steam page, reddit and discord (ive removed the forum as it wasnt being used). My reddit account has currently been banned due to suspcious activity (posting from Greece) so im awaiting the ban to be lifted and will be back posting in the subreddit there aswell. So for any suggestions, bug reports and feedback please use the above mentioned channels.

I’m currently away on holiday, so the next proper update is planned for around June 6th.

Hi All

Here is the latest patch for BPW. There's not really new additions other than slight visual changes to the Show Summary, but i have spent the week continuing to prioritize the games overall stability and performance. I have to say from my tests so far I'm much happier with where it is at now. I went through the whole game looking for ways to improve performance with the main focus being on the following so please let me know if you can see an improvement.

• Transition from booking the show to the the actual show playing out

• Business Page: Mainly Finance, Facilities & Awards page load times

• Industry Page: Wrestler Profile load times, Staff index list populate times.

• Creative Page: All Tabs (especially Industry Relations)

I'm going on Holidays now from the 18th May untill June 4th so there will be no updates during this time, I'm hoping to have one more performance update out before i go but it may not be ready. I'll still be available via the usual channels so feel free to reach out to me and ill get back to you ASAP

Hi all.

With the last patch, users had been experiencing crashes/ lag when on the showrunner along with some missing fields in the database editor.

This was all from a combination of things which eventually led to me making the decision to roll back to a previous version. Once that was done, i reimplemented the majority of the updates that this version was missing (not including the media scrums yet) and then focused on optimization of the showrunner. This has led me to creating the "Show Hub" which is something i planned on implementing further down the line. The Hub is currently just splitting the Venue selection and Show booking but it has also made possible for me to reimplement the creative control room from a previous update that was remove. This is still a work in progress so has been disabled for now but I'm hoping to get it fully functional in the coming weeks.

Once this was done i focused on direct optimization which so far has been a success. The show booking and the show runner both seem to be working much smoother now and although its not perfect its in a much better place. My main focus over the coming weeks will be optimization and stability throughout the game. As a side note i will be going on holiday from the 18th May returning 6th of June so there will be no updates in that time, however i hope to get 2 updates out before then. As always i want to end the notes firstly with an apology on the delay in this hotfix and secondly as always i want to mention how much i appreciate the continued supports, encouragement and patience of all of you.

As many of you know this is my first game release and its all been a huge learning process so thank you for bearing with me through it. I truly hope to make this the best game it can possible be over the coming months/years and non of that would be possible without all of you.

There is currently a bug affecting some players where the Showrunner crashes or is very slow to load. I'm currently working on a fix and hope it have it released tomorrow (4th May). Apologies for the inconvenience

***PLEASE NOTE***

The finances and attendance fixes will be for the default database. If the issue persists you may need to refresh the database from the settings menu under database management but it will effect any changes to the default database and may effect other databases/saves so ensure you have anything you need backed up. Apologies for this.
