Hey players,
Update v1.44.2 is now available. With this release, Beat Saber has officially transitioned from Unity's legacy Built-in Render Pipeline to the Universal Render Pipeline (URP). This is the same upgrade that has been available on the public beta branch over the past months, and we want to thank everyone who participated in testing and provided feedback — your contributions were invaluable in making this transition as smooth as possible.
URP is a modern, flexible, and high-performance rendering solution that enables us to better customize and extend the rendering process to meet the needs of Beat Saber going forward.
This update also includes a number of bug fixes across platforms. Please see the release notes below for further details.
Known Issue:
- Level Editor - If the player leaves the headset idle and selects the play button while FPFC is not active, the editor will briefly load the level and then return to the editor view where the level will have disappeared and can no longer be interacted with. Reloading any difficulty from the difficulty select will cause the editor environment to continuously load.
Legacy 1.44.1_legacy build available.
See you on the leaderboards!

PC players,
We’ve encountered a serious technical issue affecting AMD graphics cards, which is causing significant discomfort during gameplay. As a result, we are unable to release the OST 8 update for Steam as planned today (November 26).
We’re actively collaborating with the AMD team and doing everything possible to resolve this issue as quickly as we can. We’ll keep you updated on our progress. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
