Group Battles (Platoons)

The long-awaited Platoon system is now available.

Players can now create a group directly from the Hangar and enter battles together on the same team.

How it works

• Create a Platoon through the Chat menu or Friends list.

• Press To Battle to queue together.

• All Platoon members are guaranteed to join the same battle on the same team.

• After the match ends, your Platoon remains together, allowing you to immediately queue for another battle without recreating the group.

Custom Games Removed

The previous Custom Game mode has been retired and replaced by the new Group Battles (Platoons) system, providing a faster and more seamless cooperative experience.

Auto-Zoom Improvements

The auto-zoom system has been completely reworked based on community feedback.

Settings

Matchmaker Optimization:

We have updated our matchmaking algorithms to create more balanced battles. The system now more accurately accounts for the maximum power of the vehicles in your combat squad, ensuring competitive conditions for all participants and eliminating severe team power imbalances.

End-of-Battle Freeze Fix:

A critical bug causing the game to freeze on the "Victory" or "Defeat" screens has been resolved. All battles now conclude properly, and your earned currency, XP, and resources are safely saved to your account with no risk of loss.

Fast Game Launch:

We have significantly speeded up the authorization process when launching the app. The game now features "smart memory"—it instantly finds the most stable and fastest path to the server, bypassing unnecessary checks. Less time spent waiting on loading screens!

Smooth and Fast First Launch:

We have reworked the connection logic for the very first launch of the game. Thanks to new algorithms, the system selects the best game server several times faster. The game will launch without annoying delays, even with an unstable internet connection.

We could write some dramatic text about the horizon turning the color of defeated enemies... But the truth is, our logistics team just dropped off some weird Field Compasses at the base. We tested them out: they don't point north, they point right to mountains of free loot!

"Crimson Dawn" Event: Commanders, get ready! Complete tasks, collect Field Compasses, and unlock rewards. Gather blueprints and exchange them for exclusive event tanks: Grom, Pioneer, or AT 900 URF. Coming very soon!

Dora Map Fix: We’ve fixed a critical geometry exploit on the "Battle for Dora" map. Players can no longer drive inside mountain textures to gain an unfair advantage.

Rewards: Fixed an issue that could cause rewards to be granted incorrectly after a connection loss.

UI Improvements: Fixed an error in the HUD settings menu. Now, when settings are reset, the transparency of all elements, including shell buttons, the map, and other interface elements, returns to the default values.

New Tank Sounds Complete sound overhaul for all vehicles! Every tank now features high-quality audio: from engine roar and exhaust to track clanking. Sounds are specifically tuned for light, medium, and heavy tanks to highlight their true power and scale.

Automatic Graphics Settings A dynamic graphics adjustment system has been added to the game. It takes into account the specifications of any device you use — phone, tablet, or PC — including CPU, GPU, and RAM, and automatically selects the optimal settings for more stable FPS and a lower chance of crashes.

Changes to the “Battle for Dora” Map Camera behavior on the railway bridge of the “Dora” map has been fixed. Structural elements no longer block your view, while still continuing to provide cover from incoming shells.

Memory Optimization We carried out major optimization of in-game tank models and resources. By removing duplicate data and improving the loading system, we reduced the overall game size by 150 MB.

Connection Stability The network code has been refined to reduce the number of sudden disconnects and make reconnection after internet interruptions more reliable.

Support for Low-End Devices The system responsible for removing players from battle has been updated. The timing has been made more lenient so that players on less powerful devices are not removed during match loading.

UI Customization The indication of selected elements in the battle interface customization mode has been improved. They are now displayed more clearly, making the customization process more intuitive and convenient.

Technical Optimization Removed obsolete plugins and code to reduce app size and speed up game startup.

Battle Pass — Season 23 “Red Storm”

A new Battle Pass season will start soon.

The main reward of the season is the super-heavy twin-barrel tank Apocalypse, which can be obtained and upgraded as you progress through the Battle Pass.

Advance through the season stages, fight battles, and unlock new rewards.

Fixes and Improvements

• Fixed error (0) that could cause the game to close unexpectedly.

• Fixed a network synchronization issue with buffs — mines are now correctly counted in battle statistics.

• Fixed a vehicle spawn issue where multiple tank “clones” could appear if a unit was selected too quickly.

Fixed rare issues with the HP bar and combat UI elements on version 6.9.x clients.

Stability and Performance

• Reduced RAM usage on low graphics settings.

New Year season & holiday content • Holiday content in a Viking theme: new fittings and loot boxes (released in stages). • A special highlight of the season is the uniquely styled Jötunfang tank in three variants: Mk1 / Mk2 / Mk3 (released in stages). • The New Year hangar is back—and optimized compared to last year. • We’ve prepared festive decorations for battle maps; they’ll activate closer to the start of the events to set the right holiday mood.

Effects & visuals • Significant visual work: the updated effects system now uses triggers, making the image richer and more dynamic. • New mud-spray effects from under the tracks, depending on surface type. • Updated impact effects across different surface types. • Improved golden shell muzzle effect, plus a refined destruction effect when using golden shells. • During events, the look of gunfire may change. • When graphics are set above Medium, enhanced post-processing turns on automatically (soft bloom and global color correction).

Battle Pass • Battle Pass rewards are now clearer and easier to claim. If you unlock new BP stages (with rewards) during a battle, they’re grouped into a separate block after the match and offered for collection.

Economy & UI • A long-standing request: selling vehicles from your hangar has returned. • Event-specific currencies now appear only where they’re actually used and are automatically hidden after the event ends. • Rank-up currency is also temporarily hidden—the rank system is slated for a rework.

Combat readability • Tank outlines have been updated and made thicker. Vehicle silhouettes are now easier to read, especially in fast-paced battles.

New vehicle • This update adds the modern medium tank SK-105 Cuirassier.

Technical improvements • Improved stability when connections drop. • Graphics and performance settings optimized, including festive decorations on battle maps. • On some devices with certain processors, Low graphics will be enabled by default to ensure stable performance and smooth controls. • The game has been migrated to a new engine version; issues after the migration have been fixed. • Numerous other small but important fixes.
