Barbarian has been a solo passion project for over 5 years and now it finally launches into Early Access. Rather than waiting for a “perfect” finished game, I wanted to get Barbarian into players’ hands early so that community feedback can help shape what the game becomes.
The game already has a strong foundation. Combat, exploration, multiplayer, building, crafting, and progression are all in place. But this is only the beginning.
Adding a final boss fight to complete the main progression. The world of Barbarian will continue receiving new challenges and bosses even after the final boss is added.
New world events that shake up exploration and keep the world feeling alive
New biomes with unique environments, enemies, and resources
Expanded weapon and armor variety
A major overhaul of the building system for more precision and creativity
More boss fights
A colosseum-style challenge mode, potentially with Steam leaderboards
Exploring PvP systems
Ongoing bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback
Your feedback as a player will directly influence the direction of Barbarian. What the community wants to see most will help shape future updates.
‼️ IMPORTANT: If you enjoy the game, please don’t forget to leave a Steam review! It helps a lot!
As well please share any feedbacks, bugs, suggestions, or any issues you found on the Steam forums.
