Howdy, balls 1.1.1 has the following goodies:
- fix Interest ball breaking the game due to bad math (oops). No longer receive endless coins when having an interest ball, and instead have the coin chance be properly capped to max 5% increase.
Howdy! I hope you enjoyed playing balls as much as I enjoyed making it. Today I'm happy to release the update 1.1.0: The Staballity Update!!!
This update comes with a ton of stability fixes to the game which should make the experience smoother! Here's what's new:
New features and updates:
- Added scientific notation for high scores and guards against Very Large Numbers, as some players got scores so high that they went negative.
- Minor performance improvements coming from better handling the lifetime of temporary objects on screen.
Bug fixes:
- Do not crash the game when restarting a game when a Fire ball had not exploded in the previous one.
- Greatly reduce occurrences "stuck explosions", a bug in which explosions would stay stuck in the screen for a long time.
- Greatly reduce occurrences of negative triggered ball counts which sometimes caused rounds to get stuck.
- Fix the Auto ball collecting coins but not removing them from the screen.
- Fix the Slime and Recursive balls: do not respawn the recursive ball copies nor the split of slimes, to prevent an explosion of balls in the screen.
- Fix balls becoming invisible when the Wiggliness slider was set to 0.
- Fix a bug in which the game showed "Unlocked new balls" when there are no more to unlock.
Howdy! We have yet another patch to make balls more fun! Here are the changes:
- fix an issue where Eight balls would sometimes explode twice
- fix an issue where the Wish select did not keep its focus when playing with a controller
- fix an issue where balls' prices would scale faster than they should across games
- fix an issue where the game would freeze and not advance to the next round (now it should be possible to get unstuck by just clicking)
Howdy, there is another hotfix incoming with the following changes:
- fix the game incorrectly going to windowed mode on game start
- nerf the heart ball to make it one-use only.
- fix display of remaining rounds and total rounds especially when these change during rounds.
- increase the price of the Extra click ball, and its price scaling
Howdy! The first hotfix for balls includes the following:
- fix an issue in which effect volume was not persisted after closing the game.
- nerf Spawner balls and Spawner ball spawner balls by setting a hard limit on how many balls can be spawned, as some players reported getting stuck in infinite loops of spawning balls (oops).
- nerf the Extra click ball by making it scale in price after buying it.
- fix an issue in which respawn timers kept running even when the game was paused.
- add a round timer of 60s after clicking, after which balls will stop respawning. This is to prevent games getting stuck in endless loops if something goes wrong.
I hope you have fun and thank you for playing balls! 🐕
