Backrooms: Exploration Remake update is finally here, just in time before the movie! The game is a bit different from the last version, and I'll list all the changes below:
New main menu
Better settings
New areas
Better optimization
The game is a bit shorter, since I removed some of the levels. I removed them because they didn't fit properly in the game.
Better graphics, visuals
New ending, replacing the 2 older ones
Longer stamina
Better textures and materials on pretty much everything
Better sound quality
New achievements have been added, and I have removed some of the previous ones.

I'm glad to announce that Backrooms: Exploration is getting a remake. I'm not very satisfied with the current state of the game and it feels very outdated to me. Right now I'm focusing on Eclipse Demo, which will come out first, but after that I'll work on the remake. You can expect the remake to come out before the Backrooms movie, which is on May 29th.
What's going to change in the remake?

No bugs
No unnecessary voice lines
Better optimization
Overall, just a better experience

First of all, thank you all for playing my games; it means a lot to me. As I've said before Backrooms: Reminiscence was my last Backrooms title, and that promise holds. I've been working on something really interesting, and I can finally show it to you guys here. A new survival horror game inspired by horror classics, mixed with modern survival horror. The game is Eclipse.
Set in August 2017, players follow Jack, a young adult, as he documents abandoned locations with his friends. What begins as a normal episode suddenly turns into a nightmare inside The Holloway Mansion. Something terrifying happens, leaving Jack to survive alone in the mansion and face the horrors. An ancient power, buried deep under the estate, has an incomprehensible power that can twist Jack's mind to the point where you can no longer tell what's real and what's not.

The current release date for the game is October 31st, Halloween. I will also release a separate demo before publishing the main game!
The game is no longer a sequel to Backrooms: Exploration. The original story plan wasn't working, so we had to drop the sequel idea. But no worries, it's better this way.
You play as a new character, William Smith, an employee at NovaSync Research Institute.
