Update 0.5.0.6 adds controller support and introduces melee weapons. You can buy melee weapons and attachments from the repair shop. As some of you may remember the old demo had controller support but it was disabled for the early access release. This update returns controller support. It took a lot of work to get it back up and running and there is still more work to be done but I must admit it is pretty fun to kick back with the gamepad and blast zombies. Future improvements will include better navigation of the inventory and adding gamepad settings such as changing the cross hair travel distance.
With the controller and melee weapons in the game the next few updates will be content focused. More buildings, more items, more quests and another area to explore.
I hope everyone is enjoying playing Atomic Exile. I'm having a ton of fun building it.
