It's been a while! Our latest update bears the fruit of months of hard work, with the release of the brand-new track, Mt. Fuji, and three seasons that each come with a new dedicated game mode for the spotlights of JDM, PAC-MAN and IMSA! And, almost prophetically, last Roadmap we included our now classic "This is just a plan" disclaimer, and we will admit having encountered a boulder or two along the way. However, we're still on track for most of our plans and we're here to give you a quick update so you know what to expect for the rest of 2026. We'll also be following up with a Dev Q&A, and we'll be opening up a channel in our Discord channel where you can share all of your most burning questions. So, let's begin where the beginning began, and do a quick status re-check on what we shared for 2026!

Even the best laid plans often go awry, so please take it all with a pinch of salt. The team could run into unforeseen issues or simply change their minds thanks to new findings or feedback they hadn’t considered, so do not take any of our plans as written in stone, but more as a roadmap of intentions for the rest of the year. Ok, now that’s out of the way, let’s dive deeper into the details!

UPDATE ON ANNOUNCED PROJECTS

DRIVE SYNDICATE SIDE STORIES

In our most recent update, we were finally able to deliver the updated Drive Syndicate, with a revamped format and a new way to deliver the narrative. Although slightly delayed from our initial plans, we were still able to release Drive Syndicate spin-off events each update.

MORE SPECIAL COLLABS

These plans continue full steam ahead! We've already been able to score some fantastic new collabs this year, such as Dragonforce, Audi and Porsche, and even saw the return of Sonic and the Hololive crew for a final encore. Even this season brings new collabs with PAC-MAN and IMSA, and although we can’t mention them yet, we still have a couple of bangers coming to Asphalt later this year, so stay tuned!

SHOP REWORK

This was also successfully finalized at the start of this update. Our tests have finally concluded, and the new shop has been successfully released into the wild!

MULTIPLAYER

Although not finished, we will continue to work on improving our Multiplayer experience. This year we've already been tweaking our filters to better adapt to our community feedback, we introduced the Champion League and we've also revamped our triumph rewards, alongside continuing to offer new exclusive cars to collect as you rank up. But the work is never over, and we will continue to adapt and tweak, working closely with the feedback shared by our Discord community until we hit the sweet spot.

NEW TRACK

Mt. Fuji has just hit the Asphalt this update, featuring a Touge-shaped love letter to Japan and the surrounding area of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, we won't make it in time to bring a new track for our December update, but the team is already at work on plans for the next track which we will hopefully see in 2027.

UPCOMING PROJECTS

OCTOBER UPDATE

PATH TO LEGENDS Slightly delayed from our initial plans, the Path to Legends is currently slated to release in our October Update (Update 53 for those of you keeping track) and will offer a new way for new players to learn the ropes and catch up to the rest of the crew. New players will encounter a new set of missions and milestones for them to chase as they learn the ins and outs of the game. They'll be able to get into the meat of things sooner, with earlier access to special events and multiplayer, and unlock some useful starter cars as they complete their Path to Legends. BLACKCREST HALL Here's the big one which we've been dying to show you. A big new shiny event is headed your way! Welcome to Blackcrest Hall! Home to the Blackcrest Society, an elite secret society with the keys to the best machines in existence and deeply immersed in a world of political intrigue whose power struggles spill onto the streets. They need a driver, nay, a legend, who not only has the racing skills but what it takes to dominate the streets behind the wheel of their exclusive super cars. Inspired by the roguelite genre, Blackcrest Hall offers an all-new experience. Each event will give you access to a new car from the exclusive Blackcrest Hall garage. As their new Driver for hire, you'll have to take it through a series of missions and challenges, which will have you racing and completing objectives, or even facing against some of the most dangerous drivers on the Asphalt, where crossing the finish line ain't going to cut it. Completing each mission will grant you the necessary resources to upgrade your car and abilities, and to eventually unlock more permanent upgrades and rewards, even allowing you to add the Blackcrest Hall cars to your own garage! The Community team is already planning how to best show it off, and this one is so big that we might have to just go live on a stream to show the entire thing instead of our usual community videos. Would that be something you would be interested in? Let us know in the Discord so we can start prepping! SECRET SPOTLIGHT COLLAB Shhh, it's a secret, but we have an upcoming collab that can really pack a punch. More will be revealed closer to release. GAUNTLET CHANGES We're planning some balancing changes for the Gauntlet event. Mainly, the goal is to make progression through ranks faster and increase the amount of Gauntlet Coins earned overall, to make it easier and faster to collect the blueprints included in the Gauntlet Store. We're also planning on changing the cars currently included in the store However, those changes include some cuts that we are currently debating with our team. Once we've reached a decision, we'll make sure to let you know in advance, so the changes don't catch you unaware, but for now we suggest trying to make as much progress towards your current goal before the October Update releases.

SECRET SPOTLIGHT COLLAB I said Shhhhh! Another one we can't talk about yet, but stay tuned! (Can't think of any fun clues that wouldn't give it away immediately, sorry!)

FOR 2027

We have had a few plans that we don't think we'll be able to squeeze into 2026, so we will be trying to revisit a few in 2027 such as: NEW TRACK As we mentioned before, it's had to slip to help support other projects and ensure that it will still maintain the standard of quality you're accustomed to. CLUB EVENT – COMMUNITY MILESTONES Our original Community Milestones idea has slightly mutated, and now we'll be pitting the best Clubs against each other instead! In this new event, you will have to choose a faction to represent during the event! Each Faction will have a set of score milestones to complete, and reaching each milestone will unlock rewards for the ENTIRE community to claim! To earn score points for your faction you'll have to complete a series of challenges alongside your club and earn rep, so if you're a lone wolf.... better find a pack quick! The event will also include Club Leaderboards, to determine who's at the top of the pack and unlock rewards for your entire club while you're at it. We tried our best to keep it in 2026, but as the idea grew, we didn't want to rush it. REFERRAL PROGRAM Still on the drawing board, but it had lower priority compared to bigger features like Blackcrest Hall. We'll still be looking into offering a way for you to invite your friends into the game and get rewarded while they race. MASTERY SYSTEM They say the best systems are those that are easy to learn but hard to... pin down a release plan for. The Mastery System has unfortunately been left out of our current 2026 plans, and the team will see when it's a good time to revisit. We'd like to focus our efforts more on our current Multiplayer improvement plans and check your feedback on the new Blackcrest Hall, before starting work on a new reward system on top. ESPORTS Unfortunately, it seems we won't be able to hold the Asphalt Series Finals this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Esports plans have slipped into 2027, but don't worry, it's not the end and we're still working hard to find a date for the next Asphalt Series Finals as soon as we can! In the meantime, we'll try to keep the PROs busy and give them the spotlight they deserve in our PRO-AM Live events, or when they try and smurf their way into our regular ACE Challenges. Well, those are our plans for the rest of the year, with our main priorities being introducing the Path to Legends and unleashing Blackcrest Hall to the world! OTHER FIXES

Implemented support for PlayStation Steering Wheels A new ad would sometimes play after watching a reward ad. This will no longer happen and we’ve reduced the overall amount of interstitial ads that apprea in general during gameplay. Several fixes for crahes, in particular for OPPO devices. Fixed an issue where the game could crash when minimizing the game while drifting on Android.

Ya_Fire Asphalt story started like many: a cousin pulled out a phone running Asphalt 8, and that was it. He helped beat some career levels, realized he was pretty darn good, and when Asphalt 9 dropped, the visuals and arcade physics sealed the deal! Competing came naturally. He started chasing the fastest names in Multiplayer, and even when in-game progress held him back, his skill kept climbing. He found the Esports scene, and though he was too young to enter at first, he soon made up for lost time. His crown jewel? Winning the Ferrari Esports Asphalt Series 2025, the most stacked and competitive event until this day. But the journey was paved with fire. Back when FutureFlash was the most dominant player in Asphalt Esports, Ya_Fire beat him in a Time Limited Event on Rome - Eternal City, driving a Tushek TS 900 Racer Pro. A victory so sweet he still wears the Tushek T-shirt whenever they meet, just to rub it in a little. Then there were the two Grand Final losses, the Snapdragon Mobile Open Season 3 Finals and the Snapdragon Mobile Open Season 4 Part II Finals, both to FutureFlash. That shaped him. "The third time I faced him, I took him down because the third time is the charm." And we can’t forget the race against PhantomBlaze during the Lamborghini Revuelto Esports Challenge 2023 on Cairo - Nile River, where a rare, live-pulled trick humbled him and earned PhantomBlaze a place in Asphalt Esports history. Ya_Fire’s respect for that moment ? Absolute. Nowadays, he says his biggest competitor is himself. Constantly pushing, never stopping. Why now you ask? Since we have a new season coming, the hotfix allows us to deploy these changes earlier than our next update and gives us more time to collect your feedback for any future changes or adjustments. As we mentioned in our 2026 Roadmap, rebalancing our economy is one of our main objectives and one that we will continue to work on and evolve throughout the year. So, please remember, we’ll be paying attention to both your feedback and the impact these changes have in-game so we can continue to tweak and adapt any plans or adjustments. The Hotfix will be released tomorrow, April 23rd at 10:00 GMT+2, with our new season set to start as planned on Tuesday, 28th of April. HOTFIX

Now, time to have a look at what is coming in our Hotfix, releasing tomorrow, 23rd of April at 10:00 GMT+2

FIXED ISSUES

First things first, let’s deal with the “fix” part! Here's the list of all the fixes included in our upcoming hotfix:

Floaty issue has been fixed: Good news! Your drift will no longer be interrupted by 360s or other tricks you perform on the track.
Crash Fixes across all platforms: The team has been able to resolve several issues that were causing the game to crash for some of our players, particularly those playing on Steam and the Epic store.
IOS Age verification Issue: Resolved an issue for some iOS players when facing an Age verification pop-up.
Empty Rewards Tab for Multiplayer: Multiplayer rewards were not showing for some players. This has been fixed.
Season Pass not appearing for some players: This should also be resolved, and the Season Pass should display correctly for all.
India Track Respawn Issue: Some players reported being respawned while in the air on some sections of the track.
Scotland Ramps: The crew managed to wrangle back those wild ramps that had appeared on the Scotland track. They’re back in the pen now, and all is back to normal.
Shop not appearing in Bluestacks: The shop should now be back as normal.
Leaderboard issues: The leaderboards were not updating correctly for some Ranked TLEs and a few Club sections. We’ve resolved the issue, and they should now populate correctly.

ECONOMY CHANGES

Here are the economy changes included in the hotfix:

ADS BALANCING

We will be tweaking our current Ads reward system, as currently we feel it may create an awkward experience. We want our events to be an experience rewarding and engaging enough for you to dedicate your time on, instead of having to focus on grinding stages to trigger ads. We're taking measures to help players who need credits the most. Starting next season, players who are in earlier stages of their progression will see a boost in the credits they receive from credit multipliers. In the next update, we'll have the tools ready to fine-tune and extend that benefit to players in short supply of credits at any point of their journey. We also overestimated the average amount of ads players normally watch, providing an unfair advantage to platforms without ads, as they can quickly go through 20 “ad tickets” a day, which very few of you end up benefiting from on platforms with ads. So, to help level things out, platforms without ads will have their ad tickets reduced from 20 to 8, to better match the average experience amongst players.

ULTIMATE LEGEND PASS

As most of you are aware by now, we continue to work on fine tuning the contents of the Ultimate pass, and this time we have some exciting updates! For this hotfix, and coming into play next season, we’ll be further changing the pass’ content, which will bring the Zenvo Aurora Tur as the featured car AND including the key for the Pagani Zonda R. Already have the Zonda R? No worries, the key will be converted to 150,000 Trade Tokens, so you can still get some extra value from our Spotlights or Legends Store. For the rest of the included rewards, we want to try and offer more active value and upgrades, compared to just adding more bulk resources, so have a look at the Ultimate Pass once the new season comes and let us know what you think of the changes!

EVENT REWARDS

We will also be tweaking event rewards from a season perspective, making sure we balance overall rewards from season to season, instead of from event to event. As we see players mostly focusing their time on our big ticket events, such as the Spotlight and Drive Syndicate which require time and dedication, we want to make sure that time is worthwhile spent, so we’ll be tweaking our reward distribution for Spotlights, Drive Syndicates and other Special Events.

DRIVE SYNDICATE RELAYS

Speaking of Drive Syndicate, the SC relays will be gaining 2 new steps at a premium, for those who need an extra boost in a rush.

Well, our next season will be coming with a new MAYHEM event, and for the first time ever, featuring a brand-new car: The Ares Panther! Check out our season event calendar above for the exact dates so you don't miss out.

MULTIPLAYER REWARDS

Thank you to all our dedicated players who poured their hearts into our multiplayer feedback thread on the Discord channel. It helped us better understand the impact of the changes and review our plans to better adapt to your expectations and how you play the game. So, as a first step, we’ll be bringing back rewards for the Top 25,000 players! Yep, you read that right; we’re not only bringing back the top 10k rewards but expanding it to Top 25k rewards. Our initial changes were aimed at making multiplayer even more competitive, but we missed the mark. We have further increased the goal posts, to make sure that Multiplayer isn’t just rewarding our top players and gives a reason for everyone to give it a shot and try their best!

MULTIPLAYER FILTERS

We also heard your thoughts on the current filters and have also readjusted them. The new filters will kick in at the start of our next MP event next season, and will take a more nuanced approach to determine what cars should be included in each, instead of basing it purely off a car’s rank. This will hopefully lead to more fair matchups and mitigate the impact of EVO cars. Of course, we will still be keeping a close eye on your feedback throughout the season to see if further changes are needed.

IMPROVED CREDIT EXCHANGE

As players can unlock more cars each season nowadays, we’re also boosting the Token to Credits exchange rate to receive more than double (and almost four times in some cases) the number of credits you used to get, so you don’t get stuck when trying to upgrade your new rides. OTHER CHANGES

NEW MULTIPLAYER CHANGES

The team is introducing a few changes to the World League experience:

New Champion Tier: A new tier is being introduced between Platinum and Legend.
Less Sub-tiers: Sub-tiers for each rank will be reduced from 4 to 3 (i.e: Gold III, Gold II, Gold I)
Car filter Rotations: Tiers from Bronze to Platinum will have a fixed rotation, with new cars being updated into the filters regularly. Rotating Car Filters will now only happen in Champion and Legend Leagues and will update each sprint.
Reset Progression: After each reset, players who have made it to Gold League will be reset back to Gold League. You will only have to progress through Bronze and Silver once.
New Triumph Rewards: Triumph rewards have been updated and you'll also now be able to unlock a free car and decal each tier when progressing from Bronze to Platinum. Reaching Platinum I will allow you to unlock the new Multiplayer Exclusive Car: The Mercedes-Benz C11!

We hope these changes will lessen the grind a bit when climbing and will make it feel more regularly rewarding. Let us know how it feels on Discord!

MORE TRACKS FOR TEAM PURSUIT

You'll now have more variety as you chase each other down, as we're bringing the Paris, Osaka, Rome, Shanghai, Tuscany and Chicago tracks into the mix!

MULTIPLAYER UPDATE

We know we're due a reset, but we're slightly delaying it until our next update (April) as we plan to bring further changes during the update (stay tuned for more details). However we are updating the Car Filters and Card Packs for these 2 seasons, so at least there will be something fresh until the big changes arrive.

EVO BALANCING

The Bugatti Chiron EVO options have received some tweaks this season. The overall rank boost provided by EVO setups has been reduced, alongside a rebalance of archetypes. Light archetypes have been slightly nerfed, however Heavy and Overload setups have received boosts to comparatively improve their performance and make them more viable as a choice during races.

MAINTENANCE ON FEB 9th

Just a quick FYI, we will be conducting a short maintenance on Monday, February 9th, at 08:00 GMT. The maintenance is estimated to last around 2 hours, and we'll make sure to keep you updated on progress and changes on our Discord.

NINTENDO SWITCH UPDATE DELAY

For Nintendo Switch devices, the update will hit the track with a bit of delay. We're working pedal to the metal to bridge the gap and as it currently stands, we're looking at the update being available between the 9th and the 16th. Although we can't confirm a date at this stage, we already have made plans to ensure our Nintendo fans don't miss out:

Interim Calendar: While we wait for the update to become available, Switch players will still be able to continue to take part in any event that started in the previous season, such as the Unleashed and Jesko Absolut Special events alongside any TLEs or non-LP Exclusive Car hunts as originally planned. We will also be giving them a headstart in our upcoming LOTUS ER-9 SE, which will start on the 3rd of February for all of our Switch players!
Delayed start and end to events: To ensure you don't miss out on anything, we are delaying the start of (*)marked events and Showcase events until the update is available for Nintendo Switch devices. We will also be maintaining the duration of these events, so you can expect them to overlap alongside the events planned for next season on Switch. Unfortunately we can't confirm the dates as they will be adapted depending on when we're able to release the update.
Legend Pass: Will become available once more alongside the season start. Rewards will remain unchanged but we have removed a Chapter from the LP challenges to make it easier to complete in time.
Compensation: All Switch players will receive a compensation for their troubles! Amount will be confirmed alongside the final release date.
No MP1 Events: Unfortunately players will not be able to join in our first MP1 event, as it requires all players on the same update. We will be making MP2 and MP3 events available.
Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade: Once the update is available we will also be releasing a free* DLC for Nintendo Switch 2, unlocking the full power of the console and providing improved performance and graphics for the device!

We will make sure to keep you updated on any news as we get closer to release, and thank you for your patience and understanding. *DLC will cost 100¥ in the Japanese Nintendo E-shop due to local regulations.

As per usual, this season will also feature a Legend Pass, Ultimate Pass and Jingle all the Way Spotlight Pass. Each will have their own benefits and rewards, but here is the featured car for each one:

EVO BALANCING

Thanks to all of your extensive feedback, we'll be reining in a few of our EVO car stat boosts, as they seem to be punching higher than intended:

Ferrari SF90 Stradale EVO: We're going to be reducing the boost provided by drivetrain pieces, particularly the overload version, as the acceleration boost provided was larger than intended. We'll also be toning down the air acceleration special pack. The combination of these were making the Stradale far too dominant in short tracks so we toned down the boost and will continue to see how the car performs.
Ferrari Enzo Ferrari EVO: The Enzo has gone under a bit of a rework, as we've made adjustments to both pieces as well as the archetypes themselves. We've balanced the performance amongst archetypes, as some were clearly outperforming, and also reducing the rank boost provided by EVO bonuses in the process.

We hope these changes will balance the playing field a bit, as although we want the EVO changes to also evolve how the car can be driven, they were far too dominant on specific game modes.

BUG FIXES

A huge effort was put behind this update for game fixes, with over 180 issues resolved. This list is far from extensive, but fixes include:

Critical Issues:
- Switch 2 eshop purchasing issues and crashes when left idle.
- Resolved an issue where Ads were causing crashes on iOS.
- Issues with private lobby invites on Xbox.
- MP bot issues resolved.
- Fixed an issue where events were not appearing in menus.
Major Issues:
- Resolved several issues to improve performance and stability.
- Several issues where translations weren’t properly applied.
- Several UI issues where wrong or outdated info was being displayed and some buttons not working as they should.
- Resolved several issues in the garage that could cause graphical glitches or the filter now working as intended.
- Fixed several UI issues in the EVO tuning menus.
- Fixed a respawn glitch in Norway track.
- Worked on several Special Event issues including UI bugs and displayed info.
- Fixed several UI issues on Multiplayer modes.
- Resolved several issues causing FPS drops, particularly on the Himalaya Track or when using Quick race mode.
- Fixed a few ads and offerwall related issues.
Minor Issues:
- Several issues where translations weren’t properly displayed.
- Several UI issues related to the Ultimate Star Up cards and menus.
- Several overlapping icons issues across various menus and leaderboards.
- Several issues where debug text was displayed.
- Several issues related to UI buttons not working, disappearing or behaving unexpectedly.
- Polished a few audio issues.

FLAGSHIP CARS

A fun new feature is being added to our garage for a few of our flagship cars. https://asphalt9.assets.gameloft.com/assets/Mosler_Flagship_3c2151a5d4.png When viewing the 3D Model of these cars, you'll now have a button that allows you to open the door and inspect the interior of the car. This feature will be added this season to the Mosler Super GT, the RAESR Aglaia, and the Koenigsegg One: 1. We'll continue to add more cars to our list of Flagship cars each season!

NINTENDO 2 SWITCH UPDATE

A few weeks after the release of this update, we'll also be releasing a brand-new free* DLC for Nintendo Switch 2, that will include a slew of features to improve the performance on Nintendo's new flagship device. *Note: DLC will require purchase in Nintendo's Japanese E-shop.

ULTIMATE STAR UP DETAILS

You'll be able to hold up to 1 Ultimate Star-up card per class in your inventory. The Ultimate Star-Up card will automatically update any owned car in that class to the next star at 0 Blueprints, so no previously applied blueprints will carry over to the new level and no Trade Tokens will be provided for applied blueprints. Please plan accordingly before applying your star-up, as they are non-refundable. Ultimate Star-up cards will be available in offers and bundles.

NEW OFFERWALL

A new Offerwall has appeared in-game, allowing you to select from a list of surveys and challenges to take in order to receive ingame rewards!

iOS GAMECENTER SUPPORT

Asphalt Legends will now support new Gamecenter features, and you'll now have new Challenges, Leaderboards and Achievements to hunt for!

BRABHAM BT62

Unfortunately, the Brabham BT62 will be leaving our featured rotation and no longer be included in rewards or offers. However, any legends that had managed to collect blueprints for the car will be receiving a FREE KEY, so your efforts don't go to waste!

EVO TUNING

For our first foray, EVO Tuning will be available for the Bugatti Chiron, the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari and the Chevrolet Camaro LT. Once you max these cars, you will automatically unlock the new EVO feature and be able to access it directly from the garage. The EVO feature will allow you to collect new items that unlock new driving experiences for your car:

Collect Items: Each car will have access to its own EVO shop, allowing you to unlock EVO items such as new engines, drivetrains, nitro systems, etc.
Create your build: Each item will have a different weight, and the total weight of your car will heavily impact how it performs on the track.
Fine Tuning: Specific items can provide boosts to key areas, so adapt your choice to your driving style!

You'll be able to earn more tickets through gameplay, the shop and we even included some in the Legend Pass!

Legend Pass Changes

As promised in our Roadmap, we're bumping up the Legend Pass with boosted rewards and without changing the price. You'll be able to fully appreciate the changes once the update is live but here's a quick summary of changes:

Increased total Credits awarded from 3,130,000 to 6,630,000.
Increased total Tokens awarded from 1,250 to 3,000.
Increased Blueprints awarded for the 6 featured cars from 5 to 8 BP. (Unite Pass Car unlock remains unchanged)
The Body Kit Card Packs awarded have been changed to Seasonal Card packs and increased from 2 to 5 packs.
Wildcard Blueprints have been increased to 3 for all classes.

Multiplayer Changes

We're opening the doors to our World Series for a final hurrah before the reset.

World Series Changes

5th Round + Bonus Round: This season will feature one last round and a Bonus round as we prepare for a new MP reset next season.
Car filters: We're removing all the car filters and the free try cars. It's time to prove if you have the garage to match your skills!

Season Series

Green Streak Changes: We've been playing close attention to the feedback on the new mode, and we're going to be boosting the amount of Nitro included in the green bottles accross the board. 1st placed drivers should notice a significanty improvement to their nitro gains, as it will offer a closer experience to driving in a normal race, and those coming in last will receive a MUCH larger nitro boost than before. Hopefully these changes will make the mode more enjoyable, and we'll continue to keep an eye on your feedback as always.

Overall Changes

Increased Season Score gains in smaller lobbies: We've boosted the amount of series score gained when participating in lobbies which are not full, as players have shared they are facing smaller lobbies of players in multiplayer, particularly in the higher leagues.

More accessible Import Parts

We're introducing 2 new quality of life changes in our shop, to make it easier to navigate and less cumbersome overall:

Multipacks: We're bundling up offers for the same car to help save some space. Now you'll be able to select the cars in the shop, and you will be shown a pop-up that includes all the offers available for that car.
Car filter and Search: Looking for deals for your favorite car? Now you'll be able to search the shop and display any available offers for the car of your choice!

We will no longer be supporting the Aptoide store for Android. If you downloaded Asphalt Legends from their storefront, please make sure to have your account linked in the CONNECT screen of the settings menu, to ensure your progress isn't lost when reinstalling.

Our new Pinnacle of Speed Season features some very special guests, as Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends (with one evil exception), will be dashing onto the track and taking over our Spotlight event! We’ve given our Spotlight events yet another round of improvements for this very special occasion. So special in fact, that we’re adding a Special Event spin to proceedings, so the new Racing Around the World event will be somewhat familiar... but with a twist! New stages will try and match Sonic’s tempo and unlock every 6 hours, however these will come in two flavors! Ring Collection Stages
Your first challenge will consist of the most “Sonic” of trials: Collect as many Rings as you can to stay alive! Our more veteran legends will be familiar with our Collector Mode, but the goal is simple. As you race through the track, you’ll find familiar Gold Rings scattered along the road. Your goal is to collect as many as you can before the timer ends. Don’t worry though! Each Ring you collect will add precious seconds to your timer, and the higher your car’s rank is, the more seconds you’ll be able to earn! Collect as many Rings and make it as far as you can to complete challenges and earn rewards! Also each stage’s record will add to your total ring count, allowing you to unlock the next stages! Thought you had it easy? Think again! We didn’t include the almighty Sonic & Crew just for show. In-between Ring Collection Stages, you’ll have to challenge Sonic and his friends directly on the track! But don’t underestimate them. They’re known for running through loops and saving the world but they’re pretty handy behind the wheel as well, and feel right at home on the track. So, if you’re feeling fast enough , rise to the challenge and beat their times to complete event challenges and earn further rewards! The Final Twist
We warned you we had a final trick in our bag! As the only way to succeed is by going fast, we’re bringing back our Speeders for the event! For the uninitiated, Speeders are specific highlighted areas you’ll encounter on the track. Race over them and your car will get an immediate boost in acceleration, launching you towards the front of the race. If these don’t help you catch up to the fastest beings on the planet, then nothing will. Spotlight Pass & Shop
For the first time this season, we’re also introducing the new Spotlight Pass! A brand-new pass that will help you maximize your rewards during the entire event. It will feature both a Free and Premium track, jam packed with extra rewards that you’ll be able to claim by reaching milestones as you play the event. Unlocking milestones will grant you rewards such as extra Spotlight currency, Blueprints for the featured cars, and Sonic Event Decals. A new VIP system is coming to Asphalt Legends Unite, allowing players to earn VIP Experience points in-game and progress through a series of 10 VIP levels, each unlocking permanent rewards for your account! You'll be able to earn VIP experience in all sorts of ways, including daily gifts, through events, as Unite Pass rewards and also VIP experience points will be included in bundles in our store. Multiplayer Changes

Apart from the new exclusive MP car, the Ford GT MK IV, which you will be able to unlock and upgrade by participating in our events, we're bringing a few more changes to our Multiplayer experience. Event Demotions: After each MP1 event, players ranked Gold III or above will be demoted to Gold IV at the start of each new event. This will now provide our most dedicated players with a whole 3 Divisions to progress through each event, alongside the rewards provided through ranking up again. Improved Event End Rewards: We've also boosted the rewards provided at the end of each event for your final leader board position and rank to make it each event more rewarding! Unified Rewards: In order to allow for a more focused grind towards unlocking our featured cars, we will no longer be including Blueprints for the Free Try Cars in our rewards.

New RETRY Button

Another big Community request, we've introduced a new "Retry" button to our in-race pause menu, allowing you to restart the race directly, without needing to first exit and then re-enter the race.

New UI Animations

We've spruced up some of our menu animations, adding some extra shine and dazzle to our most special moments, such as Unlocking a new Car, opening card packs or receiving rewards. Have a look and let us know your thoughts in Discord.

Club Access Resolved

Our Legends will now be able to leave clubs once more, allowing for Club management and recruitment efforts to resume as normal.

This car is currently underperforming compared to other cars in a similar rank, particularly in our Season Series, where car rank takes more prevalence in matchmaking. For this reason we'll be boosting its Nitro and Handling stats at Stock, while also giving a slight increase to Nitro at Max. A brand-new update is upon us, and we're finally ready to show off everything included in the celebrations! In this update, we've included some serious quality-of-life improvements to Career mode and private lobbies, and one of our most epic collaborations is making a return with a new game mode!

Collector Game Mode

It's finally happening! LEGO is making a return to the tracks, and we're introducing Collector Mode alongside it! You'll have to wait until our upcoming Gold Pursuit season to get your hands on the all-new LEGO Technic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which will be a fun addition to any Garage. The Collector Mode itself is a spin on our Time Attack Mode:

You'll start the race with a limited amount of time and your goal is to grab as many collectibles as you can!
Each one collected will extend your race time slightly, with more time gained if your car has a higher rating.
Your final score will be based on the total amount you are able to collect!

The LEGO Technic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be the first of a total of 4 new LEGO cars that we will be releasing throughout the next few months, so stay tuned for more news!

Private Lobby -- Single Player

Our Community has asked for this a lot, and we're more than happy to oblige! You'll now be able to start a private lobby all by yourself, without the need to populate a lobby first or ask a friend to join in. This will be the easiest way to practice on new tracks with any car in your Garage and without spending precious fuel.

Career Mode Updates

We've brought a ton of quality-of-life updates to the Career mode to help our newer players progress through it a little bit easier. Changes made include:

Rebalanced Difficulty: We've adjusted a few stages that were particularly tricky for newer players.
Opened Car Filters: We readjusted a few car requirements for some stages, as some cars could be complicated to unlock.
Some objectives have been made easier: As part of the difficulty rebalance, some objectives in some stages have also been changed.
Rebalanced Rewards: We've also updated a few rewards across the board, including resources, Card Packs and Import Parts, to make the process of unlocking and upgrading required cars smoother.

These changes are part of a wider effort to breathe some new life into the early stages of Asphalt, so expect to see more changes coming in future updates.

Multiplayer Rewards Update

Last update we added some big changes to our reward structure, as we continue to strive to improve the Multiplayer experience each update. For this update, we've taken a look at our pack contents and given the an update, offering new cars for both Triumph and League rewards. We plan to continue updating League rewards throughout the Series, so expect more information each update. Triumph rewards and EIP packs will only be updated each season (around 6 months). The team is very interested in hearing your feedback on our reward selection as we'll continue to work on it throughout the year... Oh! And keep an eye out for next update, as we'll have more surprises in store!

Car Balancing Changes

Pininfarina H2 Speed We're slightly nerfing the Pininfarina H2 Speed, as we noticed it was performing a bit above it's car ranking, especially at stock. For this reason, we're slightly reducing it's Nitro and max top speed. The car should maintain a similar feel when driving it at max, but will require a little more skill at stock to maximize its nitro. We hope this change will make the car feel more in-line with its displayed rank and add some variety to the meta. Bentley Continental GT3 We think the Bentley Continental GT3 could use some love. This car can be a bit moody and requires some skill to get used to its suspension, but we felt it was still underperforming even once players took time to learn the play-style. To help boost overall performance without impacting the playstyle, we're increasing the car's Nitro, to hopefully increase the results and overall appeal of the car. 120 FPS setting returning to Android Android players will now be able to set their Frames per second to 120 in the settings.

Nissan GTR Neon Top speed fixed

The top speed for the Nissan GTR was inconsistent between in-game and stats. This has now been resolved.

Private lobby issue with full lobby fixed

Special Events

Hot off the spotlight and straight into Asphalt Legends Unite, the Lamborghini Temerario makes its special debut with its own special event. Recently announced, Lamborghini's latest and greatest will be our opening salvo, and it isn’t one to miss - play multiple stages to unlock rewards and even a free key on stage one! Support cars include the following Lamborghini models: Gallardo LP 560-4 Coupé, Asterion, Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, Reventón Roadster, Aventador SV Coupé, Aventador SVJ Roadster, Aventador J, SC63, Diablo GT, Egoista, and Terzo Millennio.
The much-awaited Czinger C21 also makes it grand entrance this season. Its special event will require the TVR Sagaris, the Aston Martin Victor, the Jaguar XJ220S TWR, the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato, the Puritalia Berlinetta, and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport will be the star of this season’s Unleashed. Grab blueprints for this top-of-the-line class A beast. To participate, you’ll need the SCG 007S, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Coupé, and the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta.
Make way for the TVR Sagaris, this season’s Unite Pass car, featured in its showcase event. The Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder Starway returns!
The Grand Prix featuring the Jaguar XJ220S TWR is also back in action!

Time-limited Events

We’re heading to Bavaria! Oktober-Fast will feature top speed cars in different classes: the Koenigsegg Agera RS, the Lotus Elise Sprint 220, and the Maserati Alfieri.
Next stop: the dragon’s lair. We’re headed to East Asia as we celebrate Dragon Festival with a draconic time-limited event featuring the Drako GTE.
Bring out the pumpkins and start the bonfire, it’s getting chilly with the winds of autumn. A new event featuring the FV Frangivento Sorpasso GT3, the McLaren 650S GT3, Arash AF8 Falcon Edition will spice up the season.
Lamborghini Temerario Esports Challenge – Got what it takes to ride this new car to victory? A fresh challenge for competitive legends awaits this season as we open the floodgates for the title of a new tournament champion.
A new Snapdragon Mobile Open ESL Qualifier will be kicking off! Stay tuned for more info closer to the event.

The Black Friday time-limited event will feature the Apollo IE, the Rimac Concept_One, and the Bugatti Chiron.
Watch out for the Cyber Monday mini-event featuring the Volkswagen Electric R. It’s the Porsche 911’s birthday, and to celebrate, we’re throwing a party featuring 911 models from the past.
Car Hunts in order: the community voted car will be first up (we’re not ready to reveal this one just yet), the rare Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the Apollo IE, Maserati MC20 (Unite Pass Exclusive)

Other Features

The Clash is back! Gather up the squad, it’s time to team up with and dominate the tracks with the much-awaited return of this club versus club game mode. Legend Store Update - The Legend Store has finally been updated, and now includes your unlocked cars for both Collector Stage I & II. Reach Garage Level 60 to unlock them all! Community Events - Community tournaments, quiz shows, creator events and more fun times to be had this season on our Discord channel.

Car Balancing Changes:

We've tweaked the performance of the following cars to more accurately match their rating based on their performance in the World Series: Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm: The car was underperforming, especially at stock, and felt a bit too difficult to drive and very bouncy. Increased Top Speed at Max Increased Handling at both stock and max Better Nitro at stock Bugatti EB110: Another car which showed a dip in performance at stock compared to it's rating and max performance. Increased acceleration at Max. Better Nitro at Stock. Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400: Although the car is performing close to its expected rank, we noticed the car was underperforming on MP2 and after investigating realized the car was too bouncy and unpredictable when landing. Some changes were made to address this and make the car more consistent and easier to drive, but still remains within it's expected performance rank. Adjusted Car Chassis, lowering the suspension travel and making the car feel less bouncy and unpredictable. Increased acceleration at Max. Increased Handling at both Stock and Max. Slight reduction to Top Speed at Max. Slight reduction to Nitro at both Stock and Max.

Fix List:

We’ve implemented some new fixes and improvements to the game, here’s some of the top highlights: Several Improvements were included to address performances issues on all platforms. Improved how Player Nameplates behave during multiplayer matches, reducing their size dynamically and avoiding blocking player’s visibility. Fixed an issue that would show placeholder Club names and mottos until a new leader approved them. Improved the Friends list base functionality, now allowing to block incoming friend requests and accept or reject all pending requests. Implemented a new system that allows us to show Ads on Windows. When in spectator mode in a private lobby, you can now access the pause menu. The garage backdrop now displays more neutral lights, allowing for a better portrayal of your car’s selection of decals and paint jobs. The Singapore track has received a few tweaks based on community feedback. Track names have made a return to the Career Track Selection Screen. Fixed several UI issues that could cause text clipping or interference when trying to click on buttons. (Like the Exit button overlap on PC) Fixed an issue that caused the emoji button to overlap the Nitro button in some modes. Fixed an issue which caused some players to be incorrectly quarantined.

We’re finally unveiling to the world everything we’ve been working on for the past years, and the team couldn’t be more excited. Cross-Platform

Cross-play and cross-save will be activated at last. Take on the world as you’ll be able to play against any friend or foe that crosses your path. With cross-play, all our racers will manage to race against anyone, no matter their platform, making for a faster and more competitive multiplayer experience. You’ll also be able to switch devices yourself, as cross-save will be active across select platforms, allowing you to quickly jump from one platform to another seamlessly.

New Friends List and Private Lobbies

Keeping track and playing with your friends has never been easier! Add your regular co-pilots to your friends list and invite them to a private race with our new Private Lobbies, You’ll be able to invite up to 7 other friends, choose your track, and race any car you own to prove once and for all who the best racer is. No fuel or tickets required.

New Track – Singapore

We have an all-new track for you to explore, inspired by the beautiful city of Singapore. You’ll be able to drive through its vibrant nightlife, as you race amongst city lights, swerve through an amusement park , and speed down water slides to reach the finish line.

New Co-op Game Mode – Team Pursuit

In Asphalt Legends Unite, we’re giving you the first-ever opportunity to team up with other racers to achieve victory. Get thrown into this epic chase, by taking part as either the Syndicate Team or the Security Team. The Syndicate drivers will be faced with using their guile and teamwork to escape the chasing security forces. You’ll have to put your skills on display to avoid getting taken down and reaching the finish line. On the other hand, the Security drivers will be going all in to take down the escaping Security drivers. They’ll have to coordinate their movements to set the perfect trap and not allow the syndicate drivers to escape. Get ready for some exciting chases and unhinged mayhem!

Improved Game – Engine

Thanks to a Gameloft team effort, we’ve spent some time under the hood to give our game a big upgrade. With the inclusion of Dynamic Light effects and improved light reflections, Asphalt Legends Unite delivers a new layer of realism. The new Singapore track will be a wonderful place to showcase all the improvements, as the dazzling night lights reflect against the hood of your car or your new car’s headlights shine ahead of you, Asphalt has never looked better.

The Beginning of a New Multiplayer

With the launch of unite we'll also be expanding our multiplayer system, with the main objective of providing a better experience and welcome the new cross-platform era. We'll be introducing 2 new permanent events, World League and Season Series, offering both a revamped competitive mode and a new more casual experience. We plan to continue improving multiplayer on future updates, all while paying close attention to community feedback to keep improving the MP experience!

Unite Tour III: Featuring the Corvette Grand Sport, Vanda Electrics Dendrobium, and the McLaren Speedtail.

Other changes:

New Multiplayer Changes

The launch of Unite along with cross-play functionality has brought a renewed focus on multiplayer. From now on, we want our Multiplayer mode to feel more dynamic and varied, as we include regular updates to ensure it feels fresh and exciting. Of course, we’ll be paying close attention to player feedback to make sure our changes are hitting the right notes. On release, we’ll be introducing 2 new permanent Multiplayer Modes: World League, and Season Series.

World League

Our core competitive mode. More veteran players will recognize this as our expansion on our classic World Series. With all our players uniting under one roof, and having more players competing together, we knew we needed to expand our current multiplayer and breathe some new life into it, as our players have been requesting for some time. The main changes coming to our competitive mode are:

Car Filters: Not all cars will be available to compete, and we’ll be changing our car rosters from event to event to keep them fresh. We also won’t be grouping cars solely based on car class, but more based on their car rank. This will allow for more balanced and interesting car selections
Sub-tiers: As we get ready for all our players to finally compete together, each tier will be broken into Sub-tiers, allowing for a larger number of players to compete and still provide meaningful progression.
New format Structure: The World League will offer the competitive experience year-round over a total of 6 Splits in the following structure:
Rounds: Competitive events lasting 2 weeks. Once complete you'll be able to claim your rewards for the Round and all players will be slightly demoted before the next round starts.
Split: A grouping made of 4 Rounds. Will aslo grant greater rewards upon completion and players will also be dropped in ranks before the next split starts.

Once a new round starts, players will start their competitive climb, gaining ranks as usual based on your performance. Once the round ends, you'll be able to claim the final Round rewards. Player's total rank will also be slightly reduced before the next Round begins. Don't worry, you'll only lose a few sub tiers and won't be demoted entire Tiers at a time. Once a Split ends, you'll be able to claim the final Split reards, based on your perfomance over the past 4 Rounds. After a split players will also suffer a demotion. The end goal of course is to see how high you can climb within the competitive year! At the start of a new competitive year all competitive progress will be reset, and you'll be back to defend your claim for another year. You can also expect to see a few changes in rules, settings and car rotations each round, but we'll share more info on that once we're closer to the events themselves, so keep your eyes peeled. These changes will allow for a more finely grained level of competition, given our increase in players, and provide a longer progression system for all. The inclusion of Sub-Tiers will also allow for more accurate matchmaking, along with allowing us to reward players each step of the way as they unlock unique rewards and additions to the car filter. It might be a longer goal to aim for, but we’ll make it worth it every step of the way. Furthermore, changing our philosophy on car filters will let us break the barriers of class filters and allow for some unique matchups yet to be seen in a competitive environment. We hope this will also allow for a more new-player friendly introduction to the competitive series, while allowing more balanced and epic matchups in our higher Tiers.

Season Series

A new multiplayer series that allows for a more casual experience! Here we want to offer a more relaxed and open experience, free from restrictions and car filters and allowing you to face the rest of the Asphalt Community with anything you have in your garage. Of course, we will still be matchmaking you against cars with a similar rank, but you’ll be free to practice on whichever car you own and get some action on your favorite rides. These events will last a week, and offer rewards based on your series score.

Speeders

We're also seeing a new event feature releasing with Asphalt Legends Unite: Speeders! On select events, keep an eye out for speeder pads: colorful pads placed on the track that will immediately give you a boost if you race over them. Take full advantage if you want to take 1st place, but careful not to crash!

Balancing Changes

The team will be undertaking a new balancing project that will span several updates. Throughout this and future updates, we'll be tweaking the stats and perfomance of a few cars, both applying buffs and nerfs to a few outstanding car's whose performance does not seem to represent the car's garage rating. We will make sure to keep you updated via our regular patch notes of any changes coming each update. For this update the team will be adjusting 2 cars:

Devel Sixteen: Fixed several physics bugs that were affecting car perfomance. Dev notes: As reported by our community, given the this car's singular shape and acceleration, the car could behave in an undesired way in certain circumstances. With these fixes, the car should be able to behave more predictively and make it more intuitive to drive. It should help set more consistent times in your races, with the car behaving more as it was intended.
Hennessey Venom F5: The Nitro stat has been slightly lowered to 24.07 stock and 46.00 at Max. Dev notes: This is a small nerf to bring it more in line with it's ranking in game. We felt the Nitro was a bit too high far a car with that top speed, and this should bring its performance more in line with expectations.

Nintendo Switch Bank

As Nintendo will also be switching over to the global version of Asphalt Legends Unite, their Bank feature will also be adapted to the new global standard. For this reason, Bank progress will need to be reset on Nintendo Switch, and the team will be sending the appropriate compensation to any affected accounts. We're sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Device Support Changes:

Due to the increased performance requirements of the new ingame engine, we will be dropping support all the devices that have no Vulkan API support. If you require the full list of such devices, please contact Customer Care. We will also no longer support android devices with the GPU T830MP2. Full list is as follows:

A new expansion for Asphalt 9: Legends that will bring a ton of technical updates and set the base for the future. It’s been our best and worst kept secret, and we couldn’t wait to finally be able to share all we’ve been working on for the past year.

Uniting our Players

Asphalt is renowned for its online multiplayer, and we’re bringing you the chance to play with your friends! With Cross-play, we’re able to open the doors to a new world of possibilities, as you’ll be able to both play with and against others, no matter which platform you choose to play on. The team is also hard at work to bring you more fun stuff for you to do with your friends, as we will also be introducing Private Lobbies, for you to challenge your friends directly, and we’re also hard at work to implement a new Friends list, to help keep track and invite your friends even outside of clubs. We’ll be focusing on the release of cross play for the launch of Asphalt Legends Unite and continue to introduce Private Lobbies with plans to include Friends lists once ready, so if we’re not able to make it for launch, you can expect them to be included in following updates. After all, the launch Asphalt Legends Unite is just the start for us, and we’ll continue to offer more game changing updates in the following months.

New Co-op Game Mode

Asphalt Legends Unite will feature a new mode that will have 2 teams face each other in an exhilarating Police car chase! A team of 5 Syndicate drivers will be chased down by 3 Security cars, in a brand-new game mode that will have you barreling down challenging tracks and trying to either take down your foes or make your escape! This game mode was actually inspired by our loving community (with a shoutout to Admega, check him out on YouTube), and we can’t wait to see how you react! Will you embrace the cooperative aspect and come up with new strategies? Or will it be every car for themselves and embrace the crashing chaos?

Improved game engine

This next step will bring more realism to our races, offering high fidelity visuals with vastly improved dynamic lighting and reflections on our tracks. It has also allowed us to add a lot more details to the cars themselves, with detailed car paint reflections, which will represent your choice of paint finish and even adding headlight lighting effects. Asphalt has never looked better!

Fresh Identity

Each Season will feature a select list of cars that will be available for Overclocking. The cars available for Overclocking each Season can change and are ensured to include some useful picks that will surely be helpful in the upcoming events. Overclock Chips can be obtained as rewards during Overclock Time-limited events, purchased directly from the Shop in offers and bundles, and can be included in other event rewards in the future.

Itching for some Italian powerful cars? The Italian Car Showcase Special Event has you covered! Mainlined by the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, you will be able to unlock and progress with a wide range of classic rides.

OTHER:

Gameloft ID will be a new login system that will work across all our Gameloft titles and allow you to also easily access your account across different platforms. It releases on Microsoft Store, Xbox and Steam this update.
The Windows version is getting an unlink button. If you have wrongly setup your Microsoft Version and Steam linking, you can use this button to directly contact customer care for assistance with unlinking.
Android performance improvements will be implemented in this update.

This new feature requested by the Asphalt Board members will allow you to send and receive Wildcards. While this is a new feature, we'll keep it improving based on your feedback. Voted directly via the Asphalt Board, we are proud to introduce an all-new system that will allow you to collaborate more directly with your Clubmates than ever before! In our next update, you and your clubmates will be able to request and donate Wildcards, and you can find out more info in our official blog post.

SEASON CURRENCY

It will have its shop. We are happy to announce that this season brings a whole new reward system: Season Tokens! As Seasons move by in Asphalt 9, the team wanted to find a way to reward our players who participate in all our events throughout a season, while also offering a way to unite your efforts to help work towards our seasonal rewards. By participating in our events during a season, you’ll be able to earn Season Tokens, that you’ll be able to spend on Season Rewards! You can check out more details in our Season Tokens article.

Another highly requested feature is finally arriving to Xbox Consoles and Windows. You’ll finally have a chance to challenge your mates to a race during game nights!
