Our June deck is live!

Queer Folk! comes from queer Polish illustrator Kamila Krol a.k.a Pigeon, whose work takes Slavic folk tales and reclaims them as a place where queer stories belong.

Folklore has always been a living thing, full of stories that went unrecorded Kamila brings them to the surface, celebrating identity through culture rather than stereotype. It's a beautiful, personal deck, and a fitting one for Pride!

Fixed a bug that caused the game to think you were still holding a card after you released it.

We created Rooms as a fun way to reward people tuning into your stream. Whenever you win cards, everyone in your Room will receive a copy. It's a great way to socialise and build your collection together!

How the Room feature works:

Head to the Profile tab and create an account (get 4000 coins for free if this is your first time!)

In your profile area, open a Room. Your Room name is your username

Share your username with your audience. They will also need to create an account

Viewers join your Room by entering your username in their Profile tab

Hello Art Collectors!

Our April deck is is a first: Celebrating both Korean heritage and the joy of risograph printing, crafted by the amazing Kelly Belter! Each suit represents Korean seasonal ingredients and foliage.

Take a closer look at the cards and you’ll find the kind of beautiful imperfections that only come from the riso printing process. We're loving those scalloped borders too!

Steam Drops start dropping tonight (18 Feb) in Art of Solitaire!

Steam Drops are collectible Steam Inventory Items you get just by playing Art of Solitaire on Steam. Each drop lives in your Steam Inventory and represents a specific card. If you own a drop, that card shows a golden stamp in-game: a little mark that says you've collected the Steam Drop. Some are rarer than others, and you can trade or sell them on the Steam Market.

The month's already halfway through, so to give you a head start we're doubling drops for the first five days, from 18 Feb until the end of Sunday 22 Feb (UTC). This month features our Monument Valley collab and Crimson Luck by Beidi Guo, celebrating the Lunar New Year.

Each deck only drops while it is the featured monthly or weekly deck, so collect them while you can!

FAQs

How do I get Drops?

Drops happen automatically while you play Art of Solitaire on Steam. All players get drops for FREE, but Season Pass holders get more:

• Free: 1 drop every ~30 minutes, up to 6 per day

• “Club” Tier: 1 drop every ~20 minutes, up to 9 per day

• “Collector” Tier: 1 drop every ~15 minutes, up to 12 per day

How rare are they?

Number cards are common (2-10), court cards are rare (J, Q, K), and Aces are very rare. Commons can be traded with other players or sold on the Steam Community Market. Rares and very rares can be sold but not traded.

Where do I find my drops?

Your Steam Inventory. In-game, golden stamps appear on matching cards automatically.

Can I turn the golden stamps off?

Yes. Head to Settings and look for the "Show Steam Cards" toggle.

Is this available on mobile?

Steam Drops are Steam-only. If you play on both, your progress still syncs, but golden stamps only appear on the Steam version.

How do I know what's dropping?

Drops come from ONLY the monthly decks, and the weekly deck: the same ones you see in the in-game store.

Significant improvements to data syncing across devices

Fixed a very common crash that was occuring when particles appeared during shiny card animation

Flick Solitaire is now Art of Solitaire!

New Name. New Decks. Same Game.

You will still be playing the same cosy solitaire you know and love. The gameplay has not changed. What has changed is the name. It now reflects what the game has grown into: Centred around art, artists, and collection.

With new decks launching regularly and more than 70 decks to collect, the heart of the game is the art itself. Decks by indie artists. Decks inspired by games. Each one brings its own mood and visual world to explore at your own pace.

Alongside the name change, two new decks arrive on Feb 1:

• The Monument Valley Deck is an official collaboration from ustwo and the Monument Valley trilogy.

• And Crimson Luck, a celebratory Lunar New Year deck illustrated by Beidi Guo.

We have changed the name from Flick Solitaire to Art of Solitaire to better reflect the amazing art throughout the game.

Level select now loads faster. Further fixes for slowdown. Fixed bug where level select would keep returning to the start.

Fix for gallery failing to load due to missing assets. Current level number now shown at the top of the screen.

Fixed a bug that caused player progress to be lost. This update will correctly locate your previous save data and restore it - unfortunately any progress made since yesterday's build was released can not be restored.

Changed the November theme colour to make light coloured text easier to read

Fixed a bug that prevented save data from syncing

• Swapped the positions of hint and solution buttons, so they match where they were in v2. • Fixed a freeze if you have activated the Daily Streak beta feature. • Coin balances now update correctly after syncing. • Boost/block slots should now save - currently these will not sync though. • Scrolling the gallery and letting go on the Boost slots shouldn't trigger a tap on those buttons. • Help popup is bigger, so it's not entirely filled by the "accept cookies" message. • Added space below level select when in portrait orientation, so it's easier to swipe between game modes.

Pressing F11 key now toggles fullscreen mode. Failed "magic link" signin should now show an error message explaining why.

If you’ve played Flick on mobile, here’s the good news: on Oct 27, the new PC version (V3) will also land on iOS and Android, complete with cross-platform syncing. Your Steam progress will carry over, so you can pick up and play anywhere.

Until then, the mobile app will look a little different from the redesigned Steam version, but only for a few weeks.
