Arcadia Fallen II news & patch notes

The Galdra webshop has been closed for a while now due to the unstable global situation. For various reasons, shipping overseas from Denmark has gotten a lot more expensive. The solution we’ve found for Kickstarter rewards is that we’re packing everything into a car and then taking a road trip to Germany to ship things from there (Yes, that is literally the least complicated solution ^^0) 

We’re aware, however, that many new and existing fans of the Arcadia Fallen series weren’t able to back the Kickstarter for Arcadia Fallen II. We want to give everyone the opportunity to get merchandise featuring the characters from our games, so for that reason:

The Galdra Webshop will be open from today, and we’ll ship these new orders out together with the Kickstarter Rewards in about 14 days from now.

Sending international packages will hopefully improve in the future, but while chaos reigns, we might have to close the shop again, so we hope people will use this opportunity while we can guarantee the shop will be open.

• Fixed a few typos and other text errors.

Arcadia Fallen II now has Trading Cards and Community Items 🥳

You can get emoticons for Hannah ːhannahː, Elias ːeliasː, Kim ːkim_arcadiafallenː, Puk ːpukː, Catherine ːcatherine_arcadiafallenː, and Ragnar ːragnarː, There are also numerous backgrounds and Point Shop items available as well, including animated backgrounds and avatars! 🧡

• Banter played from the extras menu will now consider the choices of the last save file to be saved or loaded.

• Fixed an issue with the fourth banter between Elias and Kim appearing twice, instead of the final banter.

• Fixed an issue with one particular combination of choices from Arcadia Fallen I not being properly considered. 

• Fixed an issue with an incorrect background variant being used at the beginning of chapter 5, during the morning assembly.

• Fixed a few typos and other text errors.

• Some minor audio improvements.

We just released a small update to the game that adds some minor improvements!

• Fixed some incorrect branching and dialog options.

• Fixed a few cases where the same voice over line would play twice.

• Fixed one case of the wrong voice over clip being played for a dialog entry.

• Fixed numerous typos and other text errors.

• Improved the quality of numerous ambience and music tracks.

The second game in the Arcadia Fallen series is coming to Steam on April 9 at 10 am PT, and during the Women's Day Sale, you can play the latest demo of the game on Steam ❤️

We’re finally able to announce that we’re taking Arcadia Fallen II to Gamescom in August as part of the Indie Arena Booth! We are so excited to go to Cologne again. Last time, we were there to share Arcadia Fallen in 2022 (OMG where did the time go? xD). We had such a great time, and we’re looking forward to chatting with gamers and developers alike again.

For us, the Indie Arena Booth is the gem of Gamescom and we’re so proud to be part of their lineup, just look at all these cool games!
