Hello, dearest Tycoonettes and Tycoons!
It's time! After the update performed well on the beta branch, it's time to release it for the main branch and thus for everyone.
We are making good progress on the game and want the demo to reflect that progress. So get ready for a demo feature update that brings the demo up to the latest state of development!
A lot has happened, and we will only list the biggest, most important changes here. You should definitely start the game and try it out to see what's new.
Want a slide POV? No problem! This highly requested feature is now available in the demo. We've also made many other important changes to the game. For example, you can now revive drowned guests with Joy Sparks (“Luckily, they were wrong, Martin A. didn't drown after all!”). There are also a bunch of new objects, and we've increased the, ahem, realism when a guest flies out of a slide.
The one change that naturally stands out the most: we have completely redesigned the user interface! More attractive, sophisticated colors, more information for objects and pools, and better layout (looking at you, hidden sauna benches!) are just some of the improvements we've made. We've also added a much-requested feature: UI scaling!
We want to make research a little more enjoyable and satisfying, so we've given it a little overhaul. From now on, you'll unlock research points that you can exchange for new pools, slides, saunas, shops, and more. There's also a new research tree that better reflects how we envisioned research in the game.
Highly requested and now finally in the game: you can now move objects even after they have been placed. We've gone one step further and you can now move, rotate, enlarge, or shrink them as you wish.
Of course, we're also constantly working on the game's graphics. For example, we've spruced up the appearance of our attractions, added lots of new particle effects, and made the coloring of objects both more intuitive and more powerful.
No patch without bug fixes! We have fixed many bugs (including those reported by you, thank you so much!), improved pathing, and ironed out some translation errors.
If you're interested in the full patch notes, just take a look at the previous announcement, where we've prepared a more detailed list for you.
Have fun and let us know how you like it!

Hello dear Aquapark Tycoonettes & Tycoons,
Today we’re excited to share an update on the development of Aquapark Tycoon!
Since the demo release, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, adding new features and polishing existing ones. A lot of this is based on your feedback, and we’re very grateful for that!
Everyone who stopped by our booth at Gamescom 2025 and tried out Aquapark Tycoon has already had a sneak peek at the new features we’ve been working on and fine-tuning in recent weeks and months.
Now it’s time to bring everyone up to speed: here’s what’s ready for the launch version of Aquapark Tycoon, and what we’re still working on for the rest of this year.
Watching is too boring? Yes. 100%. Absolutely. Why even build a slide when you can't ride it? So! Use the Slide POV to hop right in and test your own creations from a first-person perspective! This way, you can, ahem, find out whether your slide is a perfect fit for the target group or if there are any parts that still need some tweaking. (Or just have some fun!) It's simply the feature everyone needs and deserves.
An absolute must-have in any water park. A gentle stream where your guests can relax, unwind, and float along the Lazy River. Powered by pumps, the smooth flow carries them effortlessly forward, letting them drift as if they were gliding through a real river. Just lie back and relax.
We implemented blueprints which you can use to save and then quickly reuse existing attractions, including nearby objects. This way you can easily save your coolest slides, pools, saunas, shops and even other objects. You can then reuse them in any other park - or share them with friends!
We've made some big changes to how sauna infusion planning works, making the UI clearer, more accessible and mixing infusions more satisfying.
Quickly choose from ready-made color options for objects, slides, pools, and more. This way you can easily give your water park a beautifully cohesive look. With the color presets, you can quickly create specific areas or apply a consistent color scheme across the entire park, creating a perfectly balanced design.
This tool makes it possible to move and rotate objects. Every item in the game – from comfy lounge chairs to massive swimming pools – can be positioned exactly the way you want. Move, rotate, and align your elements until they fit perfectly into the overall design and your water park looks just the way you imagined. Whether you’re fine-tuning small details or completely rearranging larger structures, the tool gives you maximum freedom to shape your park exactly how you like it.
Management Features: We're constantly refining management features like water quality, decay management, staff management and more!
UI scaling: Adjust the interface to fit your preferred style and screen size.
Quality of life improvements: Countless small tweaks to make the gameplay more enjoyable.
Performance Optimizations & Bug Fixes, including improved pathing, so your guests & staff navigate the park better.
And there’s still more to come!
Here’s our roadmap for the rest of the year:
Co-Op Multiplayer to co-create and manage your park with your tycoon friends (this is what we're busy with right now)
Different scenarios with different biomes and goals
Seasons & Indoor-Areas for Winter
More pools, saunas, slides, shops and themes
Management features such as storage areas
More features related to Joy Sparks
We realized that we have to take some extra time to bring your most requested features to life and make Aquapark Tycoon the best experience possible. That’s why, unfortunately, Aquapark Tycoon will launch next year. However, updates to the demo are planned, so stay tuned for that!
Until then, we’d love to keep hearing your thoughts on the demo – your feedback is key to shaping the game as we move forward! 🐙
