Dear Mutationites!
Today we're launching a new update! We call it Boss Rogue! It's basically a Boss Rush mode but with some rogue-like elements put in there, available for players who have completed the game! See if can still headbutt mutant lizards and handsome long haired nemesis'es (nemessii?) when both lady luck and your strategic battle brain play a big role in how you go into battle. Oh and let us know your PR's once you did plz!
Also, we've released the Steam Trading Cards for Anno, check 'em out! Please see below for the in-depth change log for this update, and if you run into any issues or bugs, please let us know either via steam, discord or email!
New Content
-New Mode: BOSS Rogue – Unlocked automatically after completing the main story. A brand-new rogue-lite inspired Boss Challenge mode using all the game's bosses' is now live!
New Platform:
-Mac Version – Officially released and available now.
-High Difficulty Mode
You can now select "Highest Difficulty" right from the start.
-Steam Trading Cards
–Now officially available for collection and trading.
Optimizations & Improvements
-Reduced input delay for gamepad controls.
-Improved scene loading performance in some areas.
-Upgraded engine backend for better performance.
-Optimized minigames.
ANNO: Mutationem was part of ChinaJoy 2025, with the dev team on-site to meet fans and share the excitement. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with players and enjoy the lively atmosphere together, and getting some feedback on our upcoming project (stay tuned!)

1. Fixed bug where default language incorrectly switched to Chinese or Japanese when the system/game language was set to English or other non-East Asian languages.
2. Fixed issue with key customization not working properly during the Virtual Room Fight.
3. Fixed bug where the map appeared blacked out at the start of the game.
