Dear Defenders,
On the battlefields of Alpha League, we have witnessed countless strategic clashes and glorious victories together. As the producer, I want to express my deepest gratitude to every single one of you. Your dedication and tactical brilliance have always been our strongest foundation.
Today, I am absolutely thrilled to unveil my brand-new project —— Cats in the Shell! The official game page is now officially live, and we are officially kicking off our Playtest sign-ups!
About Cats in the Shell: This is a mech-building, roguelike auto-battler. Recruit talented feline pilots and construct your custom mechs from a massive selection of parts and upgradable modules. Mix and match components to create unique builds, ensuring every run offers a fresh experience. Synergize different parts and archetypes to unlock completely distinct progression paths. With random events, scarce resources, and formidable enemies, you must constantly adapt your mech configurations to survive the unpredictable grid. Test your designs in automated combat, and watch as epic chain reactions, explosive synergies, and powerful upgrades snowball, turning your creations into unstoppable war machines.
Join the Playtest: As veterans of Alpha League, you have the sharpest tactical instincts. I warmly invite you to be among the very first to pilot these mechs. Your feedback will directly shape the evolution of the game!
The beacons of the new battlefield are lit. Head over to our page to wishlist the game and request Playtest access now. It's time to build your ultimate war machine alongside our feline pilots!

We have officially deployed a hotfix addressing the connection issues and "incompatible_unique_net_id" errors that some PC players experienced when joining matches. Fix Details: The issue was caused by a protocol mismatch following a recent server environment update. We have optimized the identity verification logic to ensure full cross-platform compatibility between PC and mobile. Normal service has been restored, and all players should now be able to enter matches without issues. Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Hello Alpha League players,
This is BluishRain. Today marks almost exactly the one-year anniversary of the release of the Alpha League HD version, and here in Hong Kong, we are also celebrating the Lunar New Year.
I want to take this opportunity to share our update roadmap for March 1st. In the upcoming March season update, Alpha League will see the following main changes:
New heroes Lilith and Siya go live.
Fixed animation and VFX bugs for Shinobu.
Season settlement and the start of a brand-new season.
I’m really looking forward to introducing these two new heroes to you all.
At the same time, I’d like to be transparent about the current state of Alpha League. Simply put, ever since we announced the scale-down of development, I have been working as a solo developer. I have been paying for the game's servers out of my own pocket, while all game revenue goes directly to the investors. To be completely honest, as a 3D online game built in Unreal Engine, the workload involved in every single update is overwhelmingly daunting for a solo developer. Since my background is strictly in game design, I had zero prior experience with coding or creating 3D assets (which is why Shinobu’s animations and visual effects were a bit rough previously). The entire learning process has been incredibly difficult.
The good news is that I am gradually getting the hang of it, so you can expect to see more frequent and higher-quality updates in the future.
Lastly, a brand-new Autobattler project I’ve been developing is expected to be revealed later this year. I will keep you posted when the time comes.
Thank you, as always, for your continued love and support.

Dear players, We would like to share several important updates:
There will be no season settlement or patch update today. Based on community feedback, we have decided to extend the current season by one additional month. Starting from the next season, all seasons will last for two months, providing players with a smoother and more relaxed progression pace.
The next update will arrive on January 1st and will introduce a new hero specializing in the “Evasion” playstyle.
There will be a 5-minute server restart today to ensure the Battle Pass correctly lasts until the end of the extended season.
Thank you for your support and understanding! — Beaveroid Team
Dear Players, The Asia server of Alpha League has now been successfully restored. We recently encountered an unexpected issue that caused only some players to be able to see or access the Asia server. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
In addition, we have fixed the issue where the HD version could not process any in-game purchases.
As compensation, all players within the Asia server will receive in-game rewards. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
— The Beaveroid Team
To Our Dearest Alpha League Community,
We’ve got some important updates to share — both about the game, and about us, the team behind it.
Let’s start with the good news:
A new season of Alpha League is here!
We've removed the bugged trait that caused inconsistent behavior in matches and replaced it with a brand-new trait: Piercing Bullet. Try it out!
You can now preview common traits during map loading and via the Environment button during matches. This makes it easier to plan ahead and better understand the map’s effects on your team composition.
Now, a more personal update from our side:
Over the past few months, our studio Beaveroid has run into serious financial challenges. We had been funding Alpha League largely through external client work, but unfortunately, several of those clients never paid us. That cash flow was what kept the project alive behind the scenes.
After receiving a small investment, we went all-in on Alpha League HD, pouring everything we had into making it shine. However, that funding only covered about four months of operating costs, and we’ve been stretching beyond that with personal funds, unpaid hours, and sheer passion.
As of now, the entire team has transitioned to part-time status to reduce expenses and keep the game alive for as long as possible. But please know this: we are not giving up. We will continue to run and support Alpha League as long as it's financially sustainable — and we’ll keep pushing updates and improvements wherever we can.
Most of us have picked up new jobs to stay afloat, but we’re still staying up late to work on this game, because it means so much to us — and so do you.
In fact, we’re already prototyping a brand-new autobattler, built from the lessons we’ve learned here. If all goes well, we hope to share it with you sometime next year.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued support, your patience, and your presence in this community. Whether you joined last week or were with us from the beginning — you are the reason Alpha League still lives.
Now go try out those Piercing Bullets. We’ll see you on the battlefield.
With love, — The Beaveroid Team 💙
