Airport Madness 3D news & patch notes

Fixed issue with aircraft not responding to commands.

We've made a bunch of changes. Seattle-Tacoma International airport is a 9th airport for you to play. We've also added some cool new cameras that include a satellite "orthographic" view, if you want the Classic Airport Madness experience, instead of 3D.

We've added a bunch to both volumes of Airport Madness 3D. While we do plan to add more fields soon, for now we've sharpened up the aircraft models to have a higher level of detail. All airports have been given more buildings, better trees, more static vehicles, including static aircraft. The explosions are what we are most proud of. Some may call it unrealistic, but dang. The explosion is huge. Fixed and improved the high scoreboard. Your public high score is now properly displayed in relation to other players scores.

We've added emergencies to both volumes of Airport Madness 3D! Cabin fires, engine failures, hydraulic failures, and snake on board, to name a just a few. Enjoy!

We've added several features from Volume 2! A new radar system! Clickable targets. Screens are resizable and movable. Flight path display. Multi-colored targets. Added a Career Stats page; Fixed issue with wrong control panel opening; Fixed issue with Boston 27 departures not holding clear of 33L; Reduced likelihood of aircraft “circling” on approach; Added thrust reverse sound; Removed aircraft tag box for less clutter; Fixed overly loud “game over” sound during replays.

This airport will provide you with more than enough runways and conflict points to keep you stressed out for hours. We've added forest fire activity to our newest airport, Castlegar! New challenges that revolve around fighting this fire have also been added.
