Dear Players,
Agent Sherine has now passed 10,000 wishlists on Steam. We've reached the final milestone before release.
Thank you to everyone who followed the project, played the demo, shared feedback, and supported development.
The full game launches on July 31, and the updated demo is available now.
Dear Players,
We are happy to announce that the updated demo is now live.
As before, it includes only the Prologue, but several scenes have been completely reworked, and the game has received extensive visual and GUI improvements.
The demo also supports all 15 available languages.
You are welcome to check it out. As a reminder the full game arrives on 31.07.26
Agent Sherine is almost here—available on 31.07.2026!
Today, we’re excited to present the full list of 15 Steam achievements waiting for you. Follow Sherine’s story, explore different paths, and see if you can unlock them all!
Dear Players,
We are only 19 days away from release. Here is the list of the 12 supported languages.
The game is fully voiced in English, with partial Russian voice acting where it matters. All other languages are available as subtitles.
Dear Players,
I am happy to announce that we have finally achieved our second milestone and reached 5,000 wishlists.
Right now, there is only one major milestone left: reaching 10,000 wishlists before release day. We still have a little more than a month to go, and during this period the game's visibility is quite high, so it is definitely an achievable goal. Let's do it together.
Otherwise, development is in full production and right on schedule. Everything should be ready before release day without any delays. On the desert a few previews from the final build.

Hello Dear Players,
I am happy to announce that Agent Sherine: Dancing Fox officially arrives on Steam on 31.07.2026.
Previously, I announced that the planned release window was June. However, a short delay is necessary for quality control and to make sure everything works properly, including endings, animations, Steam achievements, and overall polishing.
In the meantime, development continues normally, and there will still be updates and news before release.
best C&V
I am excited to announce that Agent Sherine: Dancing Fox will officially arrive on Steam in June 2026. I expect to launch at the very start of the month, with a specific release date being shared roughly 30 days before.
Instead of the originally planned Early Access, I have decided to release the game in a serialized format. Dancing Fox will launch as Part One, offering a substantial, standalone experience that sets the stage for the chapters to come.
This project began in late 2024 at the "dawn" of AI-powered animation. Part One captures that evolutionary journey and serves as our foundation. Looking ahead, future parts will feature even more advanced animations and high-stakes action.
Steam Achievements: I am happy to confirm that Achievements are coming to the game!
Thank you for being part of this ride!
Dear Players,
Soon, I’ll be applying for Steam approval for an Early Access release. At this stage, it’s hard to say exactly when the release will happen. The plan is to release Episode 2 in its entirety. Currently, about 60–70% of it is ready and will be released on Patreon. With the version I have now, I’ll apply for approval, and hopefully, while the review process is ongoing, I’ll be able to complete the remaining content before release. I’ll also need to reserve some time for promotion, such as allowing curators enough time to prepare their reviews.
There is still some polishing work left to do.
First, the very first scene in the game (which is also part of the demo) requires revision. It was created at the very beginning of AI video models, and it doesn’t look as good compared to newer scenes. Some other scenes, especially in the Prologue, will also receive visual revisions.
The non-movie mode will either be removed or significantly simplified. I don’t really see a strong reason to keep it in its current form. More importantly, it takes a lot of time to test, and being forced to click for every single line can be annoying. While this is normal in traditional visual novels, in our case players often need to click twice just to skip a line or dialogue. One way or another, this needs to be addressed.
If everything goes smoothly, the game could be ready for Early Access sometime in February or March. This is only a preliminary estimate. If the review process brings any surprises, delays are possible, but for now there’s no indication that this will happen.
Dear Players,
First of all, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope you are all in good health and in a stable economic situation during the holiday season.
I’d like to share a short update on how things are going. At this point, I’ve more or less completed all the planned renders for the upcoming release. Some of them are already animated and implemented in the game, but there’s still quite a lot of work left to do.
As I mentioned before, this time I’m developing the episode without voicing at first. However, based on what I have now, it simply doesn’t feel the same. The final decision on whether to release anything without voice will be made later, once everything is finished, but for now I’m quite reluctant to do so.
I’ve also been thinking about possibly revisiting Episode 1 at some point. I feel that the massage scenes are a bit lackluster compared to what’s coming next, and I’m not entirely happy that players experience those before seeing the best the game has to offer. That said, it doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll change anything right now. It might be something to address later during future episode development.
I also considered splitting Episode 2 into two parts—releasing the first part on Patreon and the second part on Steam. However, since the second part isn’t as long on its own, I’m probably not going to do that. On the other hand, it could still make sense, as it would allow us to move more quickly toward the better content and showcase some new animations. I’m still thinking about it.
For now, I can share a few screenshots from the upcoming update.
Thank you for your continued support, and enjoy the holidays.
Dear Players,
Sherine has some news to share. The next episode (Episode 2) is now in production. All preliminary preparations are already done, including characters, environments, and outfits. What remains is finishing the script and animating everything. Voicing, however, requires a bit more consideration. At the current stage of AI development, voice production is the most time-consuming part. Because of this, Episode 2 will initially be developed without voice, and we’ll see how things progress from there. That said, Steam is the next big step, and the game simply doesn’t feel the same without full voicing. It’s not something I’m willing to give up easily just to speed things up.As for the Steam release, everything is still going according to plan—unless Steam decides to introduce unexpected changes. There has been some discussion recently about adult games potentially not being allowed in Early Access. For now, this is only a rumor. If it were to become reality, or if other restrictions appeared at release, the project would face serious challenges, as it cannot survive on Patreon income alone.WishlistYou’ve probably noticed that many developers ask players to wishlist their games. The reason is simple: Steam’s algorithm. The more wishlists a game has, the more visibility it gets through automatic promotion systems. It’s similar to YouTubers asking viewers to like and subscribe.I can share some insight how it was for Sherine. For Agent Sherine, the start was slow—around 200–300 wishlists in the first week after appearing on Steam. However, during the demo release, the game gained about 1.5k wishlists in a single day. Once it left the main page, the growth understandably dropped significantly. Currently, we’re at around 2.7k wishlists, with steady daily growth. This shows how important front-page visibility is, even if it lasts only a few days.If we could reach 5k wishlists by the Steam Early Access release (planned for January or February 2026), I wouldn’t be worried at all. But there’s still work to do. So please, if you haven’t already, consider wishlisting the game. Getting 5k wishlist is our current milestone. Episode 2Some useful feedback from Episode 1 will be incorporated, especially regarding more interaction. Episode 2 won’t feel like a simple movie—it will offer more player involvement. It also comes with quite a few surprises. For the first Steam release, it really needs to be something special. For now, we move forward. It will take some time before I can share previews or a trailer, but they will come as always.Stay tuned.Dear Players,
I am releasing Episode 1 publicly today. You can find it on our Patreon page:
https://www.patreon.com/c/arctic_studio
The reason it is not released as a demo is because I want the Steam demo to remain short, just as it is now. This is also the last public release. We will launch on Steam once Episode 2 is ready. More details on that will come later.
Dear Players,
As promised, the demo has received a small update that adds one extra scene, integrated seamlessly into the Prologue. This scene also gives a glimpse of the improved lip-sync system. Since the core of the Prologue was created back in 2024—at the dawn of AI animation tools—this addition highlights just how much progress has been made.
The update does slightly increase the game’s size, as the new scene uses higher-quality video that I didn’t want to overly compress. Don’t worry—the overall game size will be optimized later, closer to release.
The next big step is the Steam release, which we’re aiming for early 2026 (January/February). As a reminder, the game will launch in Early Access, meaning it will be updated episode by episode—much like a TV series. My goal is to have at least three episodes ready for you to play at launch:
Prologue – ~30 minutes
Episode 1 – ~50 minutes
Episode 2 – ~1 hour
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue building toward release!
Dear Players
Due to Next Fest, I've updated the general Trailer.
In addtion, prior to Next Fest I will release an udpated demo which include one new scene. It will bring
a little bit more live to Prologue.
Stay tuned for more news!
Dear Players,
I’d like to give you a little glimpse into Episode 2 with this trailer. I hope you enjoy it!
Dear Players,
I’m happy to announce that we’ve reached our first milestone—over 1,500 players have added the game to their wishlist! Thank you so much for your interest and support.
But let’s not stop here. We can definitely aim higher, right? The next goal is 5,000 wishlists—and together, we can make it happen!
Dear Players,
The demo version for Agent Sherine is now LIVE! It includes the first episode.
You can find it on the Steam page. It might not be immediately visible—just look for the “Download Demo” button, and you’re good to go.
As mentioned earlier, this version only serves as an introduction to the story and gives you impression how this VN will look like. We’ll keep you updated as development progresses.
Dear Players,
I am happy to announce that the demo will be released on September 5th. The demo will include Episode 1 and is freely available for everyone. It introduces characters, some game mechanics, and gives an impression of how this visual novel will look.
Episode 1 was made in 2024. Despite the limitations of AI models, you will see what we can achieve with them and some creativity. The actual pause in development was due to severe AI model limitations. Now that those limitations are gone, the difference is significant. This will be clearly seen in Episode 2, which is now under development. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
