Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
It has been a little while since our last update and we are excited to announce today's full release and with it, introduce new challenges and content!
We heard your feedback and have improved the single-player experience. We have added Gauntlet Mode and Endless Mode!
In Gauntlet Mode, you play against five AI opponents in a row each with a customized Gambit deck. They can even heal themselves but you'll earn extra tickets upon completion.
In Endless Mode, you play until you lose and earn tickets at the end.
We have also enhanced the overall enemy AI with better hand evaluation, more effective use of Gambits, more strategic and less predictable decisions.
We have also made general fixes and improvements:
The Gambit 'Exposed' now reveals all of their dice instead of only two.
We fixed a bug where the time out didn't end your turn properly.
Now there is a popup when quitting the game to prevent accidentaly ending your match.
Thank you so much for playing A Game of D.I.C.E. and for sharing your feedback & bug reports with us!
Good luck during your game of Death, Intellect, Cruelty and Elegance🎲
First of all, thanks for playing our game and for sending us valuable feedback and bug reports!
This update focuses on missing SFX and several bugs that occurred in multiplayer.
If you encounter any more issues or have ideas to share, feel free to post them on Discord or the Steam forums.
- Added missing SFX for dice rolling, spotlight effects, taking damage, etc.
- Fixed an issue where the spotlight was sometimes not displayed correctly.
- Fixed a bug where both players could play Gambits at the same time.
- Fixed the result screen incorrectly showing a win after losing a game.
- Fixed a bug where the Gambit selection could sometimes not be looped.
- Fixed an issue that the 1st played hand wasn't shown.
- Fixed a bug where the first played hand wasn’t shown.
- Fixed an animation bug with the Double Roll Gambit.
- Fixed a bug where the resolution camera breaks by moving with W.
- Removed host options to play at the same time because it was an experimental feature.
- Time out feature isn't functioning correctly while solving another bug which can break the turns. To prevent this for now, press F to end your turn before the timer while we investigate further.
Greetings everyone!
First of all, thank you for participating in our very early playtest and demo. Your feedback helped us a lot in improving the game.
Today, we’re excited to announce that the game is entering Early Access, available at a discounted price.
It's a competitive dice game with poker rules in an elegant Art Deco world where players face off in tense duels of luck and strategy. Use Gambits to flip the table in your favor and outlast your opponent.
Inspired by high-stakes gambling games like Buckshot Roulette and Liar's Bar, A Game of D.I.C.E. focuses on risk, tension and knowing when to push your luck.
We’ve reworked the core game loop to make it more streamlined and easier to play by removing systems that felt incoherent or annoying to use.
We also added more clarity and gameplay feedback, along with new Gambits, playable cards that let you change your dice outcomes in interesting ways.
You can now compete with players from around the world or against your friends, on the leaderboards.
We’re aware that there’s still a lot to do. Over the coming updates, we’ll continue refining the core game loop with more visual feedback, SFX and VFX to improve the overall player experience step by step.
One of the reasons we decided to go live early, at a low entry price, is to gather early player feedback and improve the game together. So please share your thoughts, ideas and bugs with us on the Steam forums or on our Discord.
After that, we plan to add more content, including new Gambits, skins and ranked matchmaking.
We’re also planning additional host settings, such as allowing matches with up to 4 players in total.
Thanks again for your support and we hope you enjoy playing D.I.C.E.!
Your invitation has arrived and tonight luck decides who walks away.
The demo is now live for Steam Next Fest: October 2025, from October 13 to 20!
Face off in a high-stakes 1v1 match where every roll, bluff and Gambit could seal your fate.
Duel against AI or other players in 1v1 battles.
Use Gambits to twist luck, reroll fate and sabotage your opponent.
Win a best-of-3 match and prove you belong among the elite.
Spin the roulette with your winning tickets for prizes!
Fully polished features and GUI, some bugs may appear and systems are still WIP.
Perfectly smooth multiplayer experience, we’re still improving until the full release.
Try out our demo and join our Discord server to share your feedback!
