The day has finally arrived! We are incredibly proud to announce that our second game, A Game About Chopping Trees, is officially out now on Steam!
It has been an amazing journey moving from the chaotic fun of The Mosquito Gang to this serene, meditative experience. We wanted to create something that lets you slow down, breathe, and enjoy the simple satisfaction of a job well done.
Pure Relaxation: No timers, no stress - just the rhythm of the axe and the forest.
Solo or Co-op: Unwind by yourself or bring a friend along for a quiet logging session.
Grow the Forest: Don't just chop - plant saplings and watch your own woodland thrive.
Exploration: Ride your trusty handcar through peaceful landscapes between work sites.
To celebrate the launch, we’ve prepared a special Game + Soundtrack Bundle. This is the ultimate way to immerse yourself in the woodsman life, allowing you to take the tranquil forest atmosphere with you wherever you go. By purchasing the bundle, you get both the game and the official soundtrack at a special discounted price!
A special thank you to everyone who has stuck with us since The Mosquito Gang and those who wishlisted the game early and joined our playtests; your involvement shaped the experience. Your support, feedback, and encouragement are what allow us to keep making games.
Grab your axe, hop on the handcar, and we’ll see you in the forest!

Hey, Lumberjacks!
We’re one week away from release — and we couldn’t be more excited. As we put the finishing touches on the full game, here’s what’s happening behind the scenes and how you helped make it happen.
What’s happening now
Demo status
The demo will be taken offline today as we prepare the final release phase. If you haven’t already, please save any local demo screenshots or clips you want to keep. Closing the demo helps us focus on polishing the full release build and avoids splitting the player base on launch day.
A huge thank-you to our testersTo everyone who joined playtests and shared feedback — thank you. Your bug reports, suggestions, and repros directly improved the game. Notable fixes from testing included stability improvements, UI clarity, and several balance adjustments that made gameplay more fun and relaxing.
What to expect on release day
Thank you again for your patience, enthusiasm, and invaluable help throughout development. We can’t wait to share the full experience with you in one week.
See you at launch!
