3D Controller Overlay news & patch notes

Mostly stability and bug fixes. Removed steam API and workshop support. Removed steam DRM. Steam input and launching the app through steam is causing some issues. That's why I've decided to remove the drm and steam api. You should now be able to launch the app directly from the executable which should help with conflicts caused by steam. Feel free to re-distribute the contents of the folder directly from your steam library or the .zip file available from: www.3d-controller-overlay.org

I've decided to release a free version of 3d Controller Overlay at www.3d-controller-overlay.org As it turns out steam may not be the best place for this software because of how steam handles controllers and the conflicts it creates. So, I'm releasing v1.11 (and probably all future versions) on the "website". As such, I will be de-listing 3d controller overlay from the steam store soon. You should still be able to access the steam version from your library if you've already purchased it, but it will no longer be available for new purchases. I've been working mostly on stability and bug fixes for this update. Because the program is not launching through steam anymore we shouldn't have any trouble with steam input causing conflicts. Unfortunately though, we will be losing steam workshop support. I will try to make a space on the website where people can share their custom models soon though. The "website" right now is just a title and a download link, but I plan flesh it out in the coming weeks and hopefully get some cool features in there like a forum etc. In the meantime I've also created a discord server for people to reach out and offer help if needed. https://discord.gg/aKwHHvCMnS Thanks to everyone who has purchased the app though steam.
